Great throne for the price
Just needed a basic throne for my home drums. This is perfect. Pretty solid for sure!

Ok stool for kids.
I plan to use this for my young teenager as a stool for his electric drum set.I think it will work decent and will last long enough to see him through his trial drum-set period. I think if we were to upgrade his drum set, we would also upgrade the stool as well.I noticed the stool is too high for my eight-year-old to reach the drum pedals, but it works for my 11 year old.It feels sturdy when I sit on it. I am 140 lbs. When my 60 pound eight year old sat and wiggles around on it, the rivets on the bottom were pretty loose. I don’t think it’s built handle much motion. It’s a good short-term stool, but for serious drummers, I’d look for something of better quality.

A good budget stool for drummers (or guitarists)
Personally I use this for guitar playing, as it's nice to not have the arm rests in the way (or be forced to sit on the very edge of your seat to make room for the guitar). It's not a super high quality stool, but it's absolutely good enough if you're on a tight budget. It's on the smaller end, but probably about right to get positioned behind a drum set. It doesn't take up much floor space and is pretty lightweight, which is handy if you're moving it around much. The worst part about it is that it spins poorly; nothing resembling bearings, just two pipes rubbing against each other. It's fine in a pinch, but not exactly pleasant for an extended time. All in all there are much better options out there, but this will definitely get you most of the way very affordably.

Not great
This is a basic drum stool and I got it to have something handy at home. The adjustment makes the leg base narrower so it's tippier. The comfort is adequate but not premium. The base is just 12" around so probably better for lighter or smaller people than me.

Affordable and easy to assemble but the quality is nothing to rave about - Light to medium duty
You can have something nice and comfortable to sit on when playing on your drum set or even just a handy and height-adjustable stool inside the house.Assembly was so easy and intuitive that you didn't even have to bother with an instruction sheet. The padded seat is thick, but the black synthetic cover is nothing special -- similar to the ones we have on our keyboard bench and task chair. We didn't expect top-of-the-line quality for the price, and the metals -tubes, brackets, and fasteners- are nothing to rave about - light to medium-duty quality. We have a sturdier -albeit old one that was included with the set, but this is the right size and affordable one for a young nephew, about 110 lbs, who messes around with the drums when his family comes in for a visit.
