Excellent book. Easy to read and everything easily and well explained for the novice German language student.

Extremely useful for those wanting an introduction to German grammar. Lots of examples and very nicely laid out too. One of the best German tuition books I've got!

Oh dear how one struggles with all the fiendish grammar that encumbers German! The author,Paul Webster,allows one to get some kind of thought order and structure into one's German language learning and that's what it took me a long time to achieve until I discovered this book. He's a saint and this book is gold dust. Its probably best used after some initial struggling because its then that one most appreciates it, like a drowning man thrown a lifejacket!

Good grammar book for German language beginners.

This is hands down the best purchase I've ever made when it comes to grammar books. Everything is laid out for you in a way that's so easy to understand so it's the perfect book to read during my commute.

Excellently clear account of all necessary points in German grammar. Cannot imagine studying without it now. Can be used as a reference text or read in a linear way from chapter to chapter. Cannot praise it enough! Wish there was an equivalent in French and Spanish...

I wish I had found this book earlier. It describes the basics of German grammar and usage in an extremely clear and non ambiguous way. Perfect for a beginner, and excellent revision for those with more knowledge.
