Excellent eyepieces, and a bargain in the kit with the case.
I purchased these from Amazon.de for about £425. Each EP is boxed as an individual retail item which is fantastic; if like me you already own one or more and will sell-on the equivalent new EP. Considering each EP retails at between £80 & £90 and you get the case which is really handy for storage (which normally retails around £50) this is a great deal.I already had the 21mm EP and was really impressed with the image quality on a celestron 9.25 SCT. With the poor weather I've only been able to try them once so far, but have been really pleased with theThese clearly aren't TV Delos league, but they are a fraction of the price. I doubt I'll use them all; specifically the 5mm as that's probably a bit over the top for UK viewing conditions. The 13 mm and 10 mm EPs gave a very clear image; and I'm looking forward to trying the others. In the picture of the case I've attached I have the optional tuning rings which you won't need with this set (there's no need for such levels of adjustment).

Brilliant Eyepiece
This is a very well made product and feels much more solid than the eyepieces typically supplied when purchasing a telescope. The wide angle view afforded by this eyepiece is great and clarity is very good across the field of view.Arrived promptly from the supplier.

fantastic.
excellent product.high optics - blown away with views of the planets like juipter which now i could see its gas clouds and other stars.views of the moon excellent, very crisp and without any fuzz. craters are all clearly seen.eyepiece is a little tricky to set up and move via telescope allignment. eyepiece also needs good conditions but so long as clear skies eyepiece is still flawlessevery penny spent on this was worth it.

I wrongly ordered an 8mm by mistake-but i am very glad i did
A young friend of mine let me use his 5mm and 10mm Baader units.I thought they were first class. I wrongly ordered an 8mm bymistake-but i am very glad i did. These lenses are such a clever design--i call them the LEGO OF EYE-PIECES. A couple of moronson some sight i came across had the usual moan-even down to the packaging. I found nothing to moan at,the lens at 8mm has a bright-sharp focus on my big optical machine. I can*t wait for Jupiter to come around later on in the year. It has the largest eye-lens i have seen on such a power lens. The apparent field does seem wider than 68 degrees. LEGO take the achromat out of the lens endand magically,it becomes about 22mm focus. The Andromeda M31 spread right across the field-and did seem brighter than all theother lenses i have. It was a sight to see--very diffuse and ghostly. To sum up--great service from Germany via Amazon--great price-delivery time--quality--i am very happy with the 8mm,and whenfinances allow-i will probably try to end up with the whole set. That would be good. Hope this helps any thinking about a future buycheers for now---Garreth

Hyperion Eyepiece
Excellent product but be aware they are much bigger and heavier than standard eye pieces enclosed with telescopes. Well made and the magnification range is extendable using the 2 optional fine tuning rings.

Excellent value
Great EPs a bit bulky but gives very good definition and easy to use with a DSLR camera, if you purchase an adaptor, not quite as good as Televue but half the price.

E' un oculare davvero multifunzionale
Molto soddisfatto, versatile, si puo' utilizzare con attacchi da 1,25" o 2" indifferentemente.Poi, la possibilita' di poter collegare la fotocamera con il suo anello adattatore e' super.

Wow, great improvement over the "stock" eyepiece on my telescope
I am a novice at astronomy so I bought a decent five inch telescope to learn about our universe. It worked. I live in a light polluted area but enjoyed the "stock" Celestron 10mm and 25mm eyepieces that came with my telescope but they were obviously most just pastic parts to keep the cost down. After investing in this product and comparing it side by side with the stock eyepiece in a location in New Mexico with virtually no light pollution I was stunned at the difference. While heavy, this is obviously orders of magnitude better than stock and really improved my observing experience. I was amazed at what was up there!! I am so pleased with this that I am ordering this product in the 10mm focal length when it comes back in stock. I will have spent almost as much on eyepieces as on the scope but, for me, it was worth the investment in eyepieces. I also know that this will fit 2" scope fittings so when I do upgrade to a bigger telescope at some point I can continue to use these at 1.25" or 2" inch fittings. Great product.

I LIKE IT!
I wasn't expecting a tremendous lot from a $200 eyepiece, but this eyepiece is a very pleasant surprise. I got it on the recommendation of an acquaintance who raved about it. He mostly uses TeleVue Ethos eyepieces, and when he told me about this eyepiece, I had to check it out. Once I saw the price, I was ready to be let down, but I ordered it anyway. I have a 9.25" Celestron SCT with a 2" TeleVue diagonal. This eyepiece maintains clarity and chromatic consistency all the way to the edge of the field of view. This size eyepiece is excellent for looking at deep sky objects, and, with a light reduction filter, good for looking at the moon. I have also viewed the sun (through a white light filter) using this eyepiece, but there was very little surface activity, so it was kind of... meh. For me, this is a really good low power eyepiece, and I am very satisfied with it.If you usually go out and spend $$$$ on TeleVue and ExploreScientific super-wide AFOV eyepieces, and you need a good low power eyepiece, I think you might want to check this thing out. It is a lot smaller and lighter than 100- to 120-degree AFOV eyepieces, since there is a lot less glass, but it delivers clear and sharp views.
