Why did you choose this product over others?:Paint was very well packaged. I was concerned because of some reviews but it couldn't have been packed any better. I bought to cover oak varnished stairs case. I wanted something that would wash off if it got on our new flooring because I am a messy painter. It definitely washes off. I've done two coats so far but will probably do another before applying the top coat.

The product is good. Covered stains well. However it wasn't packaged well. My adult daughter opened the package and the lid on the tin was loose so the contents had leaked out, luckily it was at least in a plastic bag. Thankfully we had only lost approx 1/8th of the contents. My daughter used the product as the job we are doing needs to be finished by Saturday, otherwise I would have returned it.

Arrived in a bag in a box and open. Paint has spilled out.

Nice to apply and smell, used on pvc and no issues, much better than the shellac equivalent!

It's the best primer. Dries fast and a very good coverage.

Doesn't cover water stains and it's expensive, so I really can't see the point of this. I've tested on several jobs (multiple coats and perfect drying conditions) and always had to revert to original BIN so wasted time and money. Zinsser have screwed up on this one.
