I suffer from scoliosis, and often require a little stability for my lower back, which is why I started searching for a good back brace, and I came across this one. While it doesn’t eliminate all the pain, it certainly does help your back to stay stable, and not only that, but forces you to have a good posture which contributes a lot to pain. It has helped me a lot throughout these weeks and stay productive with my day to day tasks. Another thing I like about this specific back brace is its easy use, once you find the proper height you want to place it on your back, you simply pull the 2 velcro straps in front of you and go on about your day. Overall, I highly recommend this to anyone out there who suffers from back pain and want a little extra stability!

I recently suffered a bilateral disc herniation (L4-5) during a gym workout and this back brace was a godsend. It's very supportive and has a lot of features to adjust it to your exact size. I'm a pretty big guy, 6'2" 235 lbs with a 38" waist. I also have a very wide mid-back that measures 43". Due to its versatility, I imagine it would be great for adults of almost any size or shape. Shirts don't usually fit me very well, and I was worried this back brace wouldn't either but it's so easily customizable that I didn't have an issue.In the beginning of the healing process, it helped me get around my house without pain, but now that I'm further along in the healing process I wear it at the gym to stabilize my spine as I ramp back up my training routine. I Highly recommend it for lower back injuries AND extra support during those lumbar intensive compound lifts like squat and deadlift. Really good quality material and the price is right.

I used this, and it worked so well, I forgot to review it. I bought this in October of 23 for my back (sciatica). I immediately was able to move again. I kept using it for several days, and expected to review it next time I used it based on how long before I needed it again.I haven't. Hubs, however, jacked his up over Christmas. Couldn't get up for days. I finally convinced him to try it, and he's fine again now too. It seriously is good. Supports your back while you get better.

Update: I received this item approx Feb 4. By middle of May the Velcro strips no longer adhered to each other. It can still be fastened by using one of the side strips over the center closing. But it's not ideal.Thought it was worth mentioning the fact that it appears from reviews that not all customers are suffering from the same condition.ORIGIN OF PAIN: For those who are recovering from injury, you are in a minority and should heed the advice of your doctor or physical therapist. For the rest of us: chronic pain in the lower back is physically and emotionally debilitating! Both the lumbar and SI areas need support (i.e., brace should be at least 10" tall). Support needed for vacuuming and cooking will be different than that needed for standing for a period over 10 minutes or walking more than a full city block.SIZING: Also consider: any product designed for "both men and women" is usually designed primarily for men. So, the use of any back brace is really a matter of trial and error. A woman who is 5' tall, 125 lbs and short-waisted (as I am) will require a different fit than a similar woman who is 5'8", average weight and much longer waisted or an average sized man of 5'10" and 170 lbs. Much of the process is "trial and error" - so don't be discouraged! and if your dimensions are near the limit between sizes, I would recommend always sizing up. No matter what your size, shape and age are, you DESERVE pain relief! And if you have extra skin/fat in your midsection, just get out the tape measure, use it accurately and order a brace that is substantial and will cover you well.COMFORT: Comfort is key. The Camrier Back Brace is now my "go to" for everyday use. It fits compactly under my jeans (even the skinny ones) and gives me confidence to walk without the aid of a cane or a shopping cart. (Many of us with back issues of many types are very fond of using shopping carts as a discreet ambulation aid). The tension provided by the Camrier is ideal and adjustable. I have found that wearing it much lower than described or pictured gives the best support in my case. The bottom front of brace overlaps the pubic bone. Don't be afraid to play around with positioning and with adjusting the tension. Its there to work for YOU!3D LUMBAR PAD : I found that added piece a bit confusing. It did not seem to improve pain relief or support with my condition but I'm certain it can be very helpful if it is adjusted to hit the right place.DOWNSIDE: my only complaint is that the Camrier brace is not available in pink, light grey or creamI recommend the Camrier back brace without reservation!
