So for starters this tool can not be used to do traditional embroidery... it’s actually used to do needle punch projects. I had been watching a ton of Youtubers use these and thought they were so cool! I ordered these to try them out, I was so excited because they weren’t too expensive and they had two different sizes and the reviews seemed promising!! Now starting out I was fairly disappointed because the pen was hard to adjust, the needle felt loose and getting into a groove with needle point was a bit more challenging then I thought. I figured it was just challenging because it was a new medium and I somehow managed to break the pen the first night I tried it. The tip was loose and then ultimately pushed into itself. I’m writing this review now because I recently purchased a new needle punch pen from a local craft store because I’m a huge fan of the projects you can create with this tool and the difference in quality made a huge difference. So if you’re looking to make an embroidery project this product probably isn’t for you, if you actually want to get into needle punch you might wanna scope your options. I had bad luck with this product and probably wouldn’t order again. The punch needle I got at my local craft store was around the same price and much better quality.

I have been doing needle crafts for a long time, but this is my first time using a punch needle. It took a few times to get the hang of it, but then it was easy peasy. I was even able to teach my little one how to do it. The kit contains what you need to get started besides the basic needlework supplies that you probably already have on hand.

After reading mixed reviews, I decided to take a chance on this magic embroidery pen. I wanted to work on a couple of embroidery/stitching projects and thought this would be a WAY faster way to do it, rather than the old fashioned way. Many of the reviews stated that was impossible to thread and there were no instructions. This was NOT my experience at all. The instructions for use and also threading were very thorough. However, the embroidery pen did not save a ton of time. It was easy enough to use, but the punch method provided for much room for error (either due to the type of fabric, type of embroidery floss, or some unknown factor) and many of the stitches fell out and had to be redone. Therefore, it really didn't save me any time. I wouldn't say it's a definite no, but I wouldn't give it an A+ rating.

This was a little different than what I was expecting, but I think it could work for doing fun designs on jeans. I wanted a quicker and easier way to embroider on jeans. I tried without a hoop the first time and it didn't work so well. I just need to practice more and get used to it. I'm sure it will work for what I want it to be used for.

My first buy was defective and i returned it,, The seller is very responsible and cares about customers. Reached out and assured me that most like the product i received was deffective so I decided to give it another try. The seller was right, the product i bought first was defective and broke but the second one was very sturdy. You have to get used to how to start emroiding with this,, in the begining it looks very hard and you feel all over but then you can figure out what to do:) Recommended product and seller.

The punchtool that allows you to adjust the lenght of the punch is useless. The adjustment piece fails to hold position during a punch. The other pieces are ok. The nonadjustable punch is ok if that is the length you need. Not happy with the ounch toll itself.

This punch needle set came with everything that it shows and very clear instructions on how to use it. It takes a little getting used to oh, maybe that's just me because I don't have embroidery experience but it's very easy to use and the instructions are fantastic.

Great quality. Its easy once you get going. I just love it.

Good price for the sets

Hands down the worst thing I’ve purchased on Amazon so far. The needles fall out, incredibly cheaply made and the needle threader is literally thin wire with a piece of sticker. Into the bin it goes. Never again. 0/10 straight up not having a good time with this product.

Difficult to adjust and keep in position

Cheap and nasty now what I wanted at all. Very disappointed.
