Great for a carpenter
I am a carpenter and need to do drywall demo. I love how small the magnet is and allows me to pinpoint where the screw is and find it almost immediately without tearing up the drywall because the magnet is too large for this application. Magnet is strong.

The Struggle is Over
I am so grateful to have this small yet useful stud finder. I own a battery powered finder and it still fails to find studs and this small magnetic one does the job faster and more effectively. It literally just sticks to the wall as you slide it across any wall you are trying to find a stud at. No more having to wait to get false results or no results at all. For anyone who needs to get projects done, this is for sure something that will make a great change in efficiency and timing.

Decent magnets
I like how the whole structure is built but I wish the magnets are more stronger.

Simple and quick way to find studs
As a professional custom installer, I've used all sorts of stud finders. I keep coming back to these magnetic ones. They are useful to quickly locate the nails/screws that attach the drywall to the stud. There's no batteries to replace and calibration required with each use, that you have with the electronic ones. Just glide the metal ball side over the wall and it sticks to the wall indicating the stud's location. I normally have several of these in my tool box and just leave them on the wall so I don't have to use masking tape to indicate the studs.

Weak!! AF!
I have had several magnets of the exact same design, and this one is by far the weakest it barely will hold onto a screw, and then it falls off the wall. I would not recommend you ever buy this.
