I was highly impressed with this set. It comes in a very nice, sturdy gift box. The box has an under the sea mermaid scene on the inside of the lid. Inside the box are a variety of gifts. The first thing you come to is a good sized mermaid tail bag with a drawstring closer. It can be used as a back pack. The front of the bag is covered with sequins and the back is a soft purple velour fabric. The bag is fully lined and the tail is a shimmering padded fabric. The sequins are the type the kids like where it's one color but if you rub your hand up the bag, the color of the sequins changes. Next is a soft furry journal complete with a lock and two keys. There is a mermaid tail, star, crab and seahorse appliqued and embroidered on the front. There is a compact type double mirror that looks like a clam shell. The outside of the compact is a shimmering plastic, padded type material that looks like a mermaid tail. Inside is a regular mirror and a magnifying mirror on the other side. There is a stuffed mermaid doll about 6 inches tall not including the tail fins with a gold chain on top to hang it. The doll is very detailed. There is a purple and teal plastic 32 ounce water bottle with a pop up straw type lid. There is also a wrist strap to carry the bottle if you wish. There is a very soft towel and washcloth. Last but not least, there is an ink pen with a pompom on top. There is a mermaid tail on top of the pompom. Everything in this set is mermaid themed and color coordinated. I don't know any young girl that would not be thrilled with this set.

The contents of this gift set were better than I was expecting. The towel and washcloth are super soft and yes, I'd use that towel as a blanket, not to mention when sick that washcloth is gonna rock as a cold compress. The mermaid doll is well made and comes with a chain, so she can literally be connected to anything with a connector clasp (which is not included). The water bottle has that sensory soft texture, a carrying loop that attaches around the neck of it and motivational statements to encourage water consumption. The mirror has a close up and regular mirror inside that mermaid clam, quite sturdy too as I was fidgeting with it and dropped it (oops my bad but it held up). Sequined bag is solid, they are holding up well to my moving them back and forth because tactile sensory fun and I love sequins. There is the diary fuzzy with lock, nice. Journaling is a great self care tool. The pen has a blue fur ball with glitter tail on the end of it. Also, it writes smooth and in a dark color. All in all worth it if you need a special gift for the mermaid fan in your world.

This item in my opinion is super giftable and extremely cute. Materials are nice and vibrant.

My 8 year old loves anything mermaid related, so this was perfect for her. With her age, it's a great gift as she likes the journal for doodling, she's still into stuffies (stuffed animals), a water bottle for school, and a blanket for her bed. Everything in this package are practical things a kid this age can use, so I can't recommend this enough.

I got this for my 8 year old step daughter. I told her it was her last gift before Xmas now everything else she wants she is getting for Xmas lol. It was perfect being her last gift.. it came with a diary with a lock on it which she loves.. it came with a little knapsack too which is super adorable! She said she would be able to use it for her sleep overs to put her clothes into. And it came with a few other things also all wicked adorable and in great condition.. none of it looks cheaply made what so ever! I really recommend this if you have to get a birthday gift for someone or even for your child if she’s the same age as mine.
