Aqara make reliable IOT devices and this one is no exception. My personal favourite is it’s dry contact functionality with both circuits Interlinked as required, can drive blinds & garage door's and has was they call “pulse”mode” which means you can emulate a momentary on “Button” switch in HomeKit. In my experience the best source of information for this device was via Chat-gpt other AI’s are available😃

I used this as a heat demand switch for the boiler, so I can control it through an automation in Home Assistant (using a Zigbee network with Zigbee2MQTT). The installation went without a hitch: I set HA to permit all, pressed the button on the switch for about 5 seconds, and it paired. Connection is straightforward, although naming the terminals (Lout, L1 and L2) is a bit misleading, because they have nothing to do with Live. Lout is the common, and L1 and L2 can be switched independently to connect to Lout. There is no connection at all between these three terminals and the Live and Neutral terminals.

Great product and suited my needs perfectly. I had a light and an extractor fan in my en-suite and this device isolated both as individual switches as the are running from the same light switch. Implemented automation rules etc with an occupational sensor etc and even have the fan turning on if humidity is high. Will purchase more where and when needed.

I've used this switch and as I was unfamiliar to electricals I wasn't 100% sure on how I was going to approach this and immediately requested a refund, tried it again and it worked… HURAYYY!!!, a few yt tutorials later 😭. This product couldn't been better if they had supplied a few wires

Well presented twin relay with enough flexibility to integrate into a smart home installation. The switched contacts can be independent of the relay supply. The switching can be via home automation or via a wired switch (not included) allowing more flexibility in the control philosophy. Clear limits are provided for current carrying capacity. A DIN rail carrier is included which doubles as a surface mounting if you are not using the DIN rail system. You will need a Hub to integrate into home automation but the independent switching means it will work as a simple relay without a hub.

Despite it not yet officially saying it is compatible with SmartThings, I bought it to give it a try. It works just fine and the setup process is seamless and very quick. This is a great device with many uses. I will be using it as a dry contact to control an air curtain switch. Aqara nowadays seems to be a very reliable company and one that I've turned to lately I that I'm trusting more and more.

I tried out Aqara but in order to use it they require an account registration which demands more personal information than is appropriate/relevant for this type of equipment. So I returned all the Aqara kit I'd purchased and expanded my Tp-link (Tapo) system with similar but cheaper sensors. Tapo gets my vote :-)

Using this to control my boiler via Home Assistant. Wired it up in dry-contact mode with the call for heat line. Works great, can't fault it.

Als rolluikschakelaar werkt deze module perfect. Ook het automatisch openen op positie werkt. De app van Aqara verdient een dikke 10.

Devant modifier la domotique de mon portail somfy, j’ai acheté ce module. Branchement très simple et très bien indiqué dans les modes d’emploi du fabricant Aqara. Montage en 15 minutes et paramètrage dans l’application Aqara et 5 minutes =parfait. J’en ai donc acheté un deuxième cette fois ci pour l’éclairage extérieur . Le module est hélas trop gros pour tenir derrière un mécanisme d’interrupteur Celiane dans un bâti box de taille conventionnelle. J’ai donc rajouté une deuxième box (double box), et ainsi créer un espace dédié au module. Branchement super simple est explicite sur le site d’Aqara. Parametrage encore plus simple. Fonctionnement ultra fiable. Ce module est donc très pratique et adapté à plusieurs cas d’usage et donc de montage. L’application est top et l’intégration à l’App Home super simple.

Como con todo lo que tengo de Aqara, estoy muy contento. Es cierto que de dos relés T2, uno responde un poco lento, pero nada reseñable. Tengo que revisarle la configuración. Para iluminación es de lo mejor.

*** UPDATE April, 2025: After over a year, still working fine. My outdoor gate opens every morning at sunrise and closes every night at sunset. NO issues! Raised my rating to 5 stars just because it is so rare to find a product that works so well day-in and day-out. Will be buying more. I am using this to control an outdoor gate with a custom controller. While I could have rigged my own WiFi interface and app using an ESP32 controller, I have not been successful making these work reliably. This relay module and iOS app solve that problem. The Aqara hub is not far (~40 feet) from the relay module. The signal going through one exterior wall is 100% reliable. Being able to see signal strength (including history) in the app is a huge benefit and helps when orienting the module’s antenna. Apple HomeKit integration also works great. My two complaints: 1. Both relays share a common COM connection. This is useless if you want to control two independent circuits. 2. The app’s automation rules are limited. For example, you can trigger an automation at sunrise or sunset, but no delta can be added (e.g. 30 mins after sunset). Also, while you can combine rules (e.g. sunrise AND raining) you cannot invert a condition (e.g. sunrise AND NOT raining). Hopefully this will be fixed in a future update. In general, I am pleased with this setup. It does what it is supposed to, even if it has some limitations.
