If you aren't sure what Mac model you have or what kind of memory it takes, you can get your System Profile through the Apple menu. The profile will tell you what kind of memory and how much memory is in your system. <ol>STEP 1: Open the Apple menu Open the Apple menu, and then select About This Mac. STEP 2: Select "More Info..." The About This Mac screen opens. Click the More Info... button. STEP 3: Hardware overview The System Profile screen opens, showing the Hardware Overview. The Hardware Overview provides you with all the information you will need, such as your Mac model, CPU type/speed, and total memory capacity. STEP 4: Current memory information In the Contents section on the left side of the screen, click Memory. The Memory Slot information appears, showing your current memory configuration ( make sure yours is DDR3 1066MHz ). This information helps you determine which slots are filled with which type of memory, and how many slots are still available to install new memory. </ol>

Seems ok.
Computer memory, what can I say?. Been installed for a couple of weeks now and no complaints so far. Was constrained on memory and now am not. Several noticable hangs have been alleviated and i have memory free and minimal paging so , well, that's it really. Good speedy delivery though and seems to do the job. No complaints as yet.P.s. was added to an early 2009 Mac Mini to make it 8GB RAM. Apple tell you that this model has max 4GB memory, check for EFI 1.2 update and 8GB is the real max and will give your Mac a few years extra life. Hope that saves someone the homework I had to do.

Great upgrade for a tired old MacBook
Upgraded the memory in a 2009 MacBook. The memory was recognised straight away and made quite a difference.

Good value Ram upgrade for macbookpro
Bought these 2x4Gb RAM modules for a Macbookpro (17" early 2009 model)as Apple want £400 for a similar upgrade. Fitting was a doddle, and a week into using the computer since fitting them there have been no problems. Decided on the version with a built in heat sink to minimise heat build up problems in the casing. Good value for money if you're looking to increase your Ram to the max.

It is compatible with Medion Akoya P6624 laptop which has built in 4gb ram. Bought it to upgrade my laptop and the speed has improved a lot from sluggish to smoother multitasking performance....Thanks to Komputerbay for an affordable RAM.

Fantastic bang for bucks!!! Really has made a difference to the running of my 2010 MAC MINI. It will now run almost everything I throw at it. So will use this memory every time I upgrade. Definitely great value and proves that you get more than you paid for-GREAT PRICE,QUALITY and it works. BUY IT!

An unknown name, but great nevertheless.
So, decided to upgrade a 4 year old laptop. Looked around for the usual suspects and then came across Komputerbay which had very few reviews, but nothing negative. So far its been fantastic and nothing bad that I can honestly say about it. Maybe after using it for a few more months I can update the review (if it is even needed).Pros - Significantly cheaper, quality is seemingly great.Cons - None so far.

Absolutely perfect. For the price, being about a 10th of apples quoted upgrade. This does the job just as well.Bought for gaming. And photo editing, No flaws and have had no problems!
