Does what I need it to.
I run a headless Plex server and wanted to make sure I didn't have any issues with remote desktop; others have reported that without a monitor actually plugged in, the GPU (discrete, not onboard) won't output properly in regards to hardware-based transcoding. Not only do these work great, but they report to the system as a 4k60 monitor (unlike the cheaper alternatives that just report as a 1080p display). Not only that, but they're DisplayPort which is necessary for the Quadro P2200 my server utilizes. Aaaand you get THREE of them. If I accidentally... I don't know, swallow one (kids, don't swallow electronics dongles!), I'll have two more to swallo- I mean use.

Perfect for using multiple local displays for remote desktop solutions
These were perfect for my work PC that was brought home at the beginning of the Covid 19 crisis. My work PC had 3 displays connected to it when at work. In order to use the 3 displays on my home PC while using Microsoft Remote Desktop, I needed 3 of these dummy plugs.

Works as advertised
These work to simulate a 4k display so that you can remote in with gpu hardware acceleration to a headless machine. Hot pluggable as well. A little difficult to release the display port connectors as the spring clamp is a bit tight and located on the bottom with a standard gpu orientation.

Work great for remote PCs using HDMI over ethernet
I use these to keep the graphics card working on PCs running digital signage. Without them the displays do not turn back on when power cycling the PC.
