They are super cheap and flimsy, but for the price it's pretty good. I initially thought the plastic wasn't clear, but there are two protective films on BOTH sides. I got mine to display movie posters. Once on the wall - they look great.

We had high hopes for these after reading some of the reviews. We ordered a set of three for our wedding posters, as we needed something quick and did not have time to shop around locally. Needless to say, I would highly recommend you take the time to go elsewhere, as the price of these frames DOES NOT reflect the quality in any way, shape or form. To call these cheap pieces of landfill material "frames" is an insult to whoever purchases them. Everything about these frames is awful. As soon as the box arrived, I was concerned that we only received one frame, only to find after opening that there ARE indeed three frames, they are just so flimsy that they fit in a box that looks designed to hold a single frame. While the protective plastic corner pieces that are supposed to be on all four of the corners were a nice touch, only two were included, which defeats the purpose of having a corner protector in the first place. The corner protectors that are included are both flimsy and buckling before even taking them out of the package. The metallic edge pieces are made out of an incredibly flimsy metal that bends when lifting and moving them. It seems like truly every opportunity was taken to cut corners and provide a lousy experience to the buyer. I have never been this disappointed with a purchase in my entire life, and we now have to return to the store and buy something different. Don't waste your time or money here, it's not worth it. In fact, you'd be better off taping your posters to a piece of cardboard, as that would at least provide some rigidity to your important pieces.

We needed to hang some art by our oldest kid (the drawings were 25 years old, but we don't care) after we had repainted the living room. Unfortunately, the 3M strips I chose were not strong enough, so both pieces fell and the inexpensive frames broke. We found this set of 3 frames on Amazon, and the price fit our very tight budget. After getting new, stronger 3M strips, also from Amazon, I reframed the art. The frames were very simple to use; if you watch the instructional video, the process is exactly like that. But I don't think the video showed the consumers just how tricky FINDING the plastic film is. I just could not find the film on the second side of the acrylic when I framed the first piece of art, so I just let it go. But I DID find the second film on the second frame, using my hubby's new, super powerful magnifying glass (also from Amazon; I really dislike shopping these days). An "a-ha" moment. So I took the first frame apart, very easy, and using the magnifying glass, I found the second film. What a difference that made! Truly worth the effort of taking the frame apart. Putting it back together again was actually easier, since it was the third time I had assembled the frames. These are cheap, so they are light. One frame, all assembled with the art in it, was lighter than the backing of the original frame we got back in 1999, and that was a cheap, simple frame, too. So although these are cheap and light, that is a good thing, because your hanging system is less likely to fail, unless your hanging system is a thumbtack in drywall: that ain't gonna work! These frames are light, but not that light. And because they are so very simple, they will not attract any attention away from whatever you have in the frame. I am very happy with these frames. We shall see how they hold up. While I gave them 4 stars because they are so light and flimsy-feeling, there really is nothing wrong with these frames, and I would buy them again if I needed more. I still have one left (it's a package of 3 frames), so I am thinking of getting a photo blown up to fit this last frame. If you want a luxurious, expensive-looking frame for your print or photo, keep looking. But if you want simple and cheap, and easy to use, I strongly recommend these frames.

These frames are very lightweight, which makes hanging much easier. They are also very easy to apply; the plastic borders slip around the edges of the item to be framed. The clear plastic face has a film on both sides to protect it from smudges and scratches which is removed before using. The value is very good for the three-pack. I have a lot of concert posters and the pack of three is the price I would expect to pay for only one frame of this size, so it's a great deal in my opinion. The borders are made of plastic and removable on all sides, but I have not experienced them ever slipping off or any issues like that. The frames are definitely a budget option, so I don't think they would be durable enough to hold up to falling from a high place or from some sort of acute impact, just for example, but under normal wear and conditions I have no complaints about them.

A lot of people seem to hate these frames, but I’m happy with them! They’re definitely a cheap quality, but frames are crazy expensive and I think they still look nice (especially for the price!). I have no complaints. The sides and cover are a thin plastic, but if you’re looking for a simple frame at a good price, these will do the trick. :)

Not too bad. Actually, for the price, they're very good. It's lightweight, does the job, and can be hung with compound strips. The frame is in 4 parts. You slide them on and off the edges of plexiglass/cardboard. So once you fit your print, sandwiched between the plexi and cardboard, you attach all 4 sides of the frame, and you're all set. The plexi has a bit of a flimsy/wobbly reflection, but again, all good for the price. And if the glass seems cloudy, chances are, you didn't peel off the protective film on BOTH sides of plastic. Overall, pretty good purchase. They do my movie posters justice (on a budget).
