Virbac Epi-Soothe Cream Rinse Pet Conditioner For Dogs, Cats & Horses (8 oz) - For Dry or Sensitive Skin

Makes my dog smell great

Since we have used Virbac Epi-Soothe shampoo and cream rinse, our West Highland Terrier has had no skin problems. Regular shampoos make her skin break out. It's a common problem for white dogs and others with sensitive skins.

I Really like this Conditioner! My Dogs not only smell really good but their fur is really soft for a while after it’s been used. I’ve never had any other pet conditioner work as well and last as long as this brand.

I bought this a long time ago and forgot about it, but recently used it on my dog who has extremely itchy skin. It really seemed to help, so I bought a new bottle and the shampoo. He definitely seems less itchy. The cream rinse is pretty thick and difficult to spread so I do water it down a bit and massage him for 5 or so minutes before lightly rinsing it off of him. The smell is mild, and I'm glad that it doesn't have any Foo Foo scent added to it, because I think that that would irritate his skin, as well. So far, so good! I would recommend this for anyone who has a dog with itchy itchy skin. The only thing that REALLY saves him is a methylpred shot but the vets don't want to do that, for his health.

This conditioner is great. It makes my pup so soft. The smell is light and not overly fragrant which is nice, but if you want something more smelly, you may need to add a scent boost spray. The conditioner is thick and not too runny which makes it pretty easy to apply. It is thick so it doesnʻt spread too far and you need a good amount to cover the whole pet. I use this conditioner 1x a week and the bottle lasts me several moths (my pup is 30 lbs).

I have 2 Maltese dogs, one with very long fine hair. For the 8 ½ years I have had her I have struggled with mats in her hair. They have been so bad that I had to cut her hair shorter so that grooming her wasn't so unpleasant. Last time she was groomed I asked the groomer to use this conditioner. I can't believe it but 6 weeks out from her last grooming she has had NOT ONE mat, not even under her arms. I never thought I could find a product that stopped virtually all of her mats. I highly recommend this product for dogs. I will never use anything else on my dogs. It was recommended by other Maltese owners.

Very pleased with this conditioner. My white schnauzer cam get extremely matted from wearing his winter coat or playing in the grass and this product really helps to loosen them. He also is prone to itchy hot spots and this has helped to soothe that as well.I do follow directions and leave the rinse I'm for 5-10 minutes. I have found the best way to do this without sitting there for 10 minutes while my dog shivers in the bath is to shampoo his body first (not his head or face), rinse, apply this conditioner, and while it's working on his body is when I will wash his head and face. I don't use this product on his face.

My dog has a skin condition that requires bi-weekly bathes and medication. His veterinarian dermatologist recommended this product in addition to a medicated shampoo as part of the treatment for his skin condition. So far, after using it for 3 weeks, his skin has improved significantly. Whether it was the Epi-Soothe Cream Rinse or combination of it along with medicated shampoo and medications that resulted in the improvement I can't say but everything seems to be working. It also makes him smell fantastic after each bath.
