I love that you get the correct size drill bit with the product! So easy to DIY, no leaks worked as they said, it's easier to give my chickens clean drinking water, no straw or poop in the water anymore like the old galvanized one!!

These work well for my chickens and ducks. They are large enough for the ducks to get water they way they need. I have 5 of these cups drilled into a 55 gallon water barrel. With any of these, ducks can be rough on them and occasionally due to how they are built the red cup can pop off and cause water to drain completely out of the barrel. It's a good idea to keep some spares on hand or to even take a zip tie and wrap it snuggly around the pivot point of the white plastic part to help them hold together better.

Wow! I can’t believe how well these work and in fact I bought a second set just in case because I was in disbelief t the price. I thought there’s no way these work that well for the price being that low. The set even comes with the exact size drill bit. It is the exact size drill bit too. I have had a lot of different things I’ve put together and it gives you the size you need in the instructions and it seems to be to big most of the time. Not in this case, once the hole is drilled it’s a tight fit and very simple to install. There has been no leaks and the water fills the little cup trough which causes the cup to get heavy stopping the flow. Works the magic but I do have to bounce the cup periodically due to it gets dirt collected in the bottom. What I mean by bounce the cup is taking a finger, pulling down on the outside rim of the cup and letting go quickly. I do this multiple times very quickly and it launch’s the dirt out. The cups fill up with water and they’re clean. I could take a hose and spray them out but I just do a quickie and move on. The price, like I said, is amazing and if you’re looking for a simple way to provide water to any of the small animals this is definitely a must. I bought a 30gal. trash can and used it to drill the holes and attach the water cups. I has been a simple setup and the chickens are happy with lots of water at a drip of a hat. Happy times!!

Easy to use and works well. Only thing I didn't like was that I couldn't find them in a 2 pack. I only keep 4 hens, I don't need 6 waterers.

I was surprised by how thick the cups felt (they don't feel like cheap easter eggs). In fact, I was carrying a bunch of things down the stairs, and I watched in slow motion as my recently assembled watering 4" PVC and chicken cups fell down the stairs. Several bounces landed on a cup, and one of the cups fell off. I was able to re-attach the spring and cup, and there were no broken plastic parts! What a relief!

My chickens and ducks were able to figure out these cups almost instantly! I love how easy they were to install and how they came with the necessary drill bit so there was no guess work or mistakes when drilling. HOWEVER, I do not anticipate these lasting very long. We have one cup that will not fill up with water after one week, and one or two that are leaking around the rubber washer against the bucket. The wing nuts on almost all of them will not tighten to the thickness of my 5 gal bucket, which I was under the impression were all the same thickness. Cleaning these by popping them on and off causes leaks and loosens the wing nuts on the inside. Cleaning them on the bucket is just messy and makes far less sense, but is the better option as taking them on and off just creates a bigger problem. My water cups need cleaned every day (both inside the coop and outside) due to dirt, dust, feed, bedding, feathers, bugs, and droppings. I think cover on my buckets to prevent the ladies from roosting on top would help with the mess and prolong the life of the watering cups.

They are very flimsy and the cups break off and drain all of the water out of the bucket. They might be fine for only chickens, but I have ducks and a turkey also.

I struggled with multiple diy watering mechanisms for my chickens when I'd have to be gone for a few days, as well as disliking ground water containers getting disgusting and dirty FAST!I used the smaller nipple cups, but my chickens wouldn't activate it.These are larger, they are spring activated so they automatically fill as the water is used.They included the cups, orings, and wing nuts. They even included a drill bit, which was super impressive to me.I did have a problem that my big butt chickens would run into it and ended up knocking 2 cups off. The little springs were lost and they would no longer refill. I reached out to the company and they were super helpful and fast yo respond. They even said based on this, they might include extra springs in future shipments.For now, I have 3 attached to a 5 gallon bucket. I put it up against a wall and put a cinder block on each side. These are enough to block them from walking around it and knocking cups off but they can still get to it to drink. I may add a drop of glue to the top of each spring, it may keep it from getting lost in a big butt drive by. We'll see!Overall, I would have given 4 stars due to the problem, but they responded so well, I had to add a star back.
