my basic bontrager shock pump didn't fit onto the dps rear shock on my YT izzo due to frame reinforcement being in the way. tight squeeze and pump fitting is too long on bontrager; scratched paint a bit. this one fits like a glove and works as it should. just gotta figure out the psi lost (5-7psi maybe) when unscrewing to set psi to your selected setting. this is normal. set psi on pump above your desired psi by this 5-7psi to end up where you want to be. beginner tutorial. we all gotta start somewhere. this pump is a good start to finally get my sag set correctly to what i want. i also see a review stating tight clearances on a niner rip 9 where this pump works as well. first world problems.

I bought two digital shock pumps. This one and a Fox that actually looks almost identical to this one. This review is solely based on the Venzo pump and it's a great pump for the money. I really wanted a digital gauge for accuracy of readings as I spend a lot of time getting my suspension dialed and a few psi can make a difference in some forks and shocks and the digital gauge now makes that possible. I now can record my setting and when I service my suspension, I can get it back to exactly where it was before.Yes, digital shock pumps are more expensive than standard gauge pumps but for me, the accuracy is HUGE. And this gauge is actually really accurate. Both shocks I bought read the same and provided the exact same sag measurement as the other at the same pressure reading. It pumps great and the air release button allows for micro adjustments to fine tune the air pressure.The only issue I found was the hose gets bound up as you tighten the fitting to the shock/fork and twists as you tighten it. It does the same when you go to unscrew it after. Again, both digital shock pumps had this issue. This is weird because none of my other shock pumps do this. It's not a big deal but it is slightly annoying.If you are looking for a solid shock pump with a digital gauge then you can't go wrong with the Venzo model. I would buy it again.

The pump is simple, easy to use. The LED display is great checked against several different measurement standards, and it is accurate would definitely buy this again and again, and again if needed.

For all the Mountainbikers out there riding a Niner, this one works for the back suspension. The suspension on this bike is housed/cuddled inside frame components making it hard to access the valve. And the attachment just would not work with my bike. Had a bike mechanic look at it and it would not work for her either. Soooo I stayed hunting for a good pump. 2 thumbs up for this one- no complaints- highly recommended for my fellow niner riders.

Original Rating of 1 Star:Guage failed on first use. Reading was erratic and showed an error at 215 PSI.Update:I contacted Venzo directly about a warranty for my defective pump. They responded within hours and sent out a new replacement pump the next day along with a return shipping label for the defective one. The replacement pump works well, and the gauge is accurate.Their customer service was excellent. Although the original product I purchased was defective I would buy from Venzo again based on the quality of their service response.Product: This is a fairly compact pump. If you're looking for a shop tool that will get a lot of use, something with higher volume would probably work better. I'd say this is a good choice to keep in your hydro pack or for home mechanic use.

Looks and functions the same as the branded expensive ones. I have only used it 2x so far. We'll see...
