excellent buy, easy to to fit, best toilet seat we have ever purchased.

Seems flexible and easy to fit. Doesn't have the same slow close feature that the original had but because it's slightly stiff its almost the same

The toilet seat is fine but the fixings are not fit for purpose. First time someone sat on fitted seat it twisted to the side and fixing popped out. Had to go to local plumbers centre to buy fixings that were up to the job.

Some twit managed to break a D shaped soft close toilet seat in a rental flat. The maker of the seat and toilet seem to have left the UK market so getting a replacement was pretty much impossible. I took measurements and these have to be taken carefully following the dimensions used in the spec of this seat.We were within 1 or 2 cm of all dimensions for this seat and it looks OK.Fitting it was OK but I had my doubts about the 'expanding bolts' however they worked well. What I did find tricky was doing the initial tightening which requires a screwdriver and the seat got in the way but I managed as would anyone with a little effort and common sense. You tighten from the top using a screwdriver, not the bottom with wing nuts.The quick release facility is a bit odd and I doubt that I'll use it.For the money it was a gamble that paid off but only because I measured up carefully and assessed the differences.I can recommend it.

Great seat, no major issues experienced.Just a minor gripe is that the instructions are no very clear in terms of tightening the screws and the fittings are slightly different to those shown.

Looks great but Moves around and cannot tighten anymore. Not really comfortable when sitting on as inner edge is a little sharp and digs in slightly.It is bearable as didn't cost the earth but I'm sure there's comfier out there...

Its OK now but I had to buy different screw fittings as the holes in the toilet were too small for the seat screws. Also the instructions were inside the sealed seat packaging so I had to open the package and in it it said that it could not be returned if the package had been opened! Luckily after visiting 3 shops I was able to get fittings that fitted the small holes in toilet.

Too much sideplay in hinges so seat slides around but otherwise reasonable value for the price
