i like TeamGroup. Good ol' MP44. I think i have about 24 or 25 of these drives i've bought over the last couple of years. no joke. i put these things in everything. i have 9 of them in my primary desktop alone (4 in an external SSD array and 5 sitting in the motherboard). They are running in Hard Raid mode. They are not the fastest but also not the slowest either. The price point is great for the quality you get. i've not had one of these drives fail yet. I also have 2 Raspberry Pi 5's each of them have 2 of these drives attached. These drives are my go to drives for pretty much everything. when 4TB SSDs come down in price i'll start buying those. but for now, 2TB is just fine.

So good, especially since i bought before prices went to hell.

I've purchased two different kinds of these drives, the MP44L and MP44. I use the 500gb as my C drive and the 2tb as my D. They both have never given me any issues and the transfer rates are great. I also use a Samsung drive though it's gen 3. I like these drives. I tried another drive that got way too hot when transferring info and these seem to stay pretty cool. I installed some 1tb of software on it and it stayed cool through the process. I don't even have a heat sink on it... It might help that I don't keep my drives inside my case but hey we all set up our machines differently.When I was using another drive I had it on a external drive card outside of the case and it heated up to at least 160 so These are awesome for me. I've never had an issue with Teamgroup products and for the price I suggest them. They use Cache ram and have a good architecture for storage. If you need to upgrade from a 1TB SSD, this is a very good option to consider.

This review is for the 1tb version installed in a PCIE 4.0 slot. Overall, I am happy with the drive. Well it's slightly slower than it's advertised read speed, it makes up for with its faster than advertised rate speed, so overall it balances out. With the heat spreader that came with my motherboard, the drive idles at 42 to 43 degrees and reaches a high of 57 under synthetic load which is quite reasonable for these types of drives. Over the years, I purchased drives and Ram from this brand and always found them to be reliable and a good value option.

Really good as described indeed its 4 terabytes and functional with my mobo

High endurance, strong performance and while not the cheapest, provides value for money. In terms of operation, noticeably very snappy response over the SATA SSD it replaced.
