ULANZI F38 Multi-Hole Camera Quick Release Plate Kit

This Ulanzi camera quick release plate is a great addition to my camera setup. The build quality is impressive—solid metal construction that feels durable and secure. Once mounted, there’s no wobble at all, even with a heavier mirrorless camera and lens. The quick release mechanism works smoothly and locks in place with confidence. It makes switching between tripod, handheld, and other supports fast and hassle-free, which is a big plus when shooting. I also like the low-profile design. It doesn’t add extra bulk and doesn’t block the battery compartment or ports, which shows good attention to detail. Installation was simple and took just a few minutes. Overall, this is a well-made, reliable quick release plate that does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Great value for the price and something I’d definitely recommend to photographers and videographers.

Works great. Quick to click in and out. Much faster than tightening and loosening a normal Arca Swiss mount. Smaller than I expected. Considerably smaller than the backpack strap clip. I purchased a second one for my travel tripod.

Its very good, easier to release, stronger. I think is a good price for what you can perform better.

I bought four of the F38 pro version to make gear transitions more seamless when I film weddings. They work well and are secure. I like the button locking design. I will say I had to return one of the four because the pin was not properly machined, and the plate would get stuck sliding into the mounting plate. The replacement was fine, though. The base of the mount plate is arca swiss, but the plate that slides into the quick release is not. Some other purchasers got confused on this point. That means you can put the quick release mount into another mount that accepts arca swiss, but the F38 plate itself will need to slide into the top of the F38 quick release plate. Another tip: Loctite blue thread locker works well if you need to mount a plate on something in a semi-permanent way. It's not really permanent like red thread locker, but cleaning the blue off of threads is a pain.

It's a good gadget for many occasions. I'm going to use it for outdoor nature photography. Size is small, quality is above average and weight is light. I can see the easy mounting on and off between camera and tripod.

Every camera, and lens tripod sleeve I have is kitted out with these. I want it to work across every camera in my system, I'll even use them on small lighting setups. They are great! But I wish they had locking pins to hold them in place. They come loose every couple of gigs and I find myself retightening them before shoots. They work amazingly well on location and we do volume of weddings. I like to be fast and not fiddling with gear in stressful moments and these do exactly that. I'd like a slightly more pro version with better locking pins both on the plates themselves as well as on the mount. But not every camera or tripod has those anyways. So for where I'm at in my career they are game changers.

I've been using the Falcam clamps and plates for about six months on neck straps and backpacks and love the system. I wasn't sure I would feel the same way about this device on a tripod/monopod but I've been pleasantly surprised. The lockup is very solid, which was my biggest concern. Right now I'm using this primarily on a monopod because that's where ease of use is most important. Something that can snap in with one hand is ideal while in the field. As usual, the Ulanzi/Falcam design and construction is excellent. I will be buying more of these as I catch them on sale.

Bought this so my cameras and monopod could all be switched quickly. I love the Ulanzi quick-release mounts and have them on all my cameras and my monopod. They hold my cameras securely, and the lock makes sure I don't bump them by accident. Well worth the money.

I love all of Falcam's products so far, own about 5 adapters + strap attachments now. This one is a little tight, but my other multi-hole quick release is as well. Bit annoying, but still useable. Please note that *this* multi-hole quick release does NOT have strap holes, as opposed to the other one I have. Keep that in mind.

As described and arrived very quickly. I have several of the F38 quick release plate kits and they are awesome.

This has to be best purchase for my camera and tripod combined as this just saves me a lot of time mounting my camera. I loved this so much that I bought another one. So I have 2 right now. Build quality is great because of its metal build. It also comes with locking mechanism which is handy if you are moving your tripod a lot. LOVE IT.
