Great ice pack
I have a few ice packs and this one is great. It works really well and looks cool. While some of my other ice packs have more features like the ability to heat them, and built in straps, this one is nice because it's basic and large and very flexible. It's also a good value and will last for years. I recommend this ice pack if you want one that you can lay on put on your body while you are not moving. If you are moving around with an ice pack on, I'd recommend looking into ice packs that strap onto your body.

Name is weird but the ice pack is decent
This is your standard gel ice pack. It does contain a lot of gel though and is rather heavy (which is a good thing since it will help apply pressure to keeping it in place). The outer wrapper is well made and of decent materials. It does require your to put a towel or other piece of cloth between the pack and your skin to prevent getting your skin too cold. Even though it is rather thick, it is still fairly flexible and will wrap around and conform to the affected area quite well. The name is strange and likely intended to give an image of toughness...which is fine, marketing people need jobs too. Overall, decent ice pack.

Flexible but COLD
This review is for: Dirt Ice - Gel Ice Pack - Large - 14.5"x10.5" - Ice Packs for Injuries Reusable - Swelling, Bruising & Sore Muscles - Pain Relief - Shoulder, Neck, Back, Elbow, Foot & Knee Ice Pack Wrap - Cold PackI was thrown by the name of this thing... Didn't know what to think. It's nice because it's thin and doesn't take up a lot of space in the freezer. Usually with ice packs they're bulky, but this one is not.I love that it gets really cold but it's super flexible. No more bags of frozen peas!

Good for a Summer Cool Down
This a large ice pack and I could see myself using it if I am hot in the summer.

Big and flexible!
This worked really well on my shoulder! I don't know what I did but I woke up a week ago and my neck/shoulder was killing me, which I figured was a perfect time to give this a try. It's filled with a gel that makes it cold but still flexible. I was able to bend it into a bit of a C shape and wrap it around my neck/shoulder and that really helped with whatever I had done to injure myself.I will say that for the price, I feel like I've seen other brands be cheaper, but this is a better build quality than I would get going with one of those other brands. I have some others like this and this is by far the best built one.The only complaint I have is that it's an ice pack only, it cannot be used to heat like some others I've seen, but it's not advertised as such so that was no surprise at all!

Good cold distribution
This gel ice pack has very good distribution of coldness. The hell has vertical pockets so it makes the distribution some what more even. The material is fairly thick and even when directly touching your skin its not uncomfortable. Overall it's a really nice premium ice pack it keeps cold a really long time and is a nice large size perfect for wrapping around your shoulder or covering your lower back.

Nice cold pack, stays cold longer then some
First, I have no idea why it is called Dirt, other then to get your attention - but it does work well as a marketing tool. It got my attention and I decided to give it a try. The pack is basically a large gel pack that you put in the freezer. It takes about 2 hours to achieve it's full potential cold. You have to put a cloth between your body and the pack and not put it on bare skin. The pack stays cold for about 30 minutes although they don't want you to use it for longer then 20 minutes. I use it for migraines and don't have a problem keeping it on longer then that. I find it stays cold much better then the migraine hats that I've tried. I just lay it on my head and lay down and it works great.Unlike other gel type packs, you can't put this one in the microwave, it is freezer only. Since I originally ordered it, they have actually reduced the price to $24.99 which is reasonable. It works well and is very useful. And it has nothing to do with dirt.

DIRT Ice, Reusable Gel Ice Pack
This is a nice ice pack. I like that it stays pliable when frozen. Some ice packs get too hard when you freeze them. I wish it had a bag to keep it in while in the freezer. I have mine in a large ziplock bag to keep it clean. You do need to use a cloth of some type when you use this. You don’t want to put it on your bare skin. Even though this is a nice ice pack, at the current price of $39.99 I don’t feel like this is a good value.
