Useful for A6300
This battery has been working well so far. Using it in a Sony A6300 that I have set up for recording videos and lets me keep the power flowing to the camera for hours at a time.

Very convenient for streaming.
Handy way to power the camera for streaming. Has been fine for several 7-10 hour streams. Ideal way to use your A6000 with OBS etc.

Works on A6300 and A7ii
I own an A7ii and A6300, and this dummy battery works for both. The reason there are two models is because the wire comes out to the left or right of the battery lid depending on which model of camera you have; if you are happy to leave the battery lid open, the same battery works for both. The dummy battery has a cable that attaches to a power supply and its all easy to set up (which it has to be, because you get no instructions!).The cameras detects this as a genuine Sony battery, because I see a % value against it in the camera (it's permanently about 88%).The reason I wanted this is because of video; I can now run my Sony cameras as mains powered video cameras without having to constantly change batteries. You would also want this in a stills studio setup. So the question most potential purchasers will be asking is 'its good that I can get this for a quarter of the price of the original Sony ACPW20... but I'm a bit reluctant to put this into my expensive camera bodies without knowing the actual voltage it puts out; is it the required 7.2V it says on the batteries?'.Yeah, that also occurred to me, so I used a voltmeter. The original ACP20 states 7.6V on its power supply, as does this copy, but the actual measured voltage on this device is 7.9V.So 'A bit high but reasonable', and it all seems to work OK.

Great with Sony A6000
This ac powered dummy battery works really well with My Sony A6000. Setting it up is simply a case of plugging it in like any normal battery, then pulling the power hole open to feed the cable through. The adapter, which has a good length of cable on, then simply plugs into the connector on the dummy battery. This works as if there's a genuine normal battery fitted in the camera. It allows you to continuously shoot video or take photos, without worrying about the battery dying or needing to be swapped mid-shoot.The adapter appears to be circuit protected and I feel completely safe using it.I can't efi itely recommend this. It should also work perfectly with all other Sony camera that use this type of battery. The cable output can be altered to suit cameras with a different Cable output position.

Needlessly big
This works fine but when you consider how small phone chargers are nowadays, it's difficult to see why this package needs to be so big. For a start, there is a standard figure 8 mains cable and a separate transformer unit. It would be much better if the transformer was built into the plug and a single cable to go from the plug to the camera. There are of course USB versions of these so I'm hard pressed to see why you would want a mains version when a USB version is so much more versatile: You could charge it from a phone adapter, computer or powerbank.Apart from that, the quality is ok but nothing special.
