Great hot chocolate in small amounts
Delicious once you know it should NOT be used on a Lungo setting. When we first used the pods we had it on that setting and was disappointed as to how weak it tasted. Once we understood it wasn't meant for the the whole drink changed. We often use 2 pods to make a long hot chocolate drink and adding a little milk can make it feel richer. This is delicious and warming and just about the right amount of sweetness. My grandson loves it and so does the wife. That's all I can ask for

Too good to be true. Beautiful liquid, poor taste.
I admit the thought of a on demand Hot chocolate, and I must admit I was really excited just by popping a capsule in the machine and seeing beautiful brown liquid come out. But that was the best part. The hot chocolate itself wasn’t much, with the box advising to use 2 pods. This seems poorly designed as why would you need 2 pods for one drink (75p a cup!)...when would Nespresso ever tell you to use two pods to make one coffee...The taste is rather bland and watery, yes I used the espresso setting but I couldn’t taste anything other than a powdery grit.On the whole this is an amazing idea, but seems rather snakeoil than Nespresso affiliated.

Nice flavour but very weak
I have been using the Podista Hot Chocolate pods, but they are no longer available :( so I was forced to find an alternative. This brand has one variant described as 'Sweet Hot Chocolate' and this one described as 'Dark Hot Chocolate. This led me to believe that it would be a 'natural' chocolate, concentrated with no added milk powder... I was mistaken. These pods dispense a shot of weak tasting (think Horlicks), pale coloured chocolate, which also appears to have milk powder and sugar added! The Podista was capable of still providing a tasty mug of hot chocolate with frothy milk added. These pods are incapable of providing more than a 'shot' of sweet, milky chocolate. With these, even 2 pods don't carry enough flavour to make a mug of hot chocolate! Very disappointed. I really hope the Podista pods come back into stock!

Very good overall except value for money
Having bought these after reading various reviews, I was not expecting perfection. I was pleasantly surprised that it works very well and does not cause any jamming. The flavour is indeed very weak so to make a full cup you need to use 2 pods. In terms of value for money, this is where it took the overall rating down from 5 stars - it is more expensive than Nespresso pods because you need 2 pods to make 1 full cup, making its cost per cup over 60p as opposed to Nespresso's 35p per cup. It also causes 5 times more water to fill the compartment below so it probably leaks as it's filling up. Nonetheless, I am very pleased with it and have thoroughly enjoyed the first 2 boxes, with 2 more to go. I am also please with the fact that these are easy to recycle as all I need to do is peel of the tin foil, rinse out the residual chocolate, and put it into my plastic recycling with everything else.

No good for Nespresso Coffee Machines.....
I ordered these to use with my nespresso machine, they don’t work very well and they dump a load of hot water in your collection tray. I checked the capsule after use, it only punctured a couple of holes trapping water inside. The caramel that did get out was very weak and watery, in the end I had to use the powder straight from the pod by puncturing the pod and tipping out the powder. I had to use 3 pods worth of powder to get a descent taste but it was quite nice. I don’t recommend these pods to be used in your coffee machine at all.

Like a hot Werther's Original!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I love the taste of butterscotch and this seemed to promise caramel in a cup, so it was worth a gamble. I wasn't disappointed! It basically tastes like a Werther's Originals hot chocolate (although there is no chocolate - just caramel). It's creamy and smooth, and perfect for the evening when you don't want coffee. Great for the kids too as there is no coffee or caffeine.

Sweet caramel toffee for Nespresso
Made the mistake of pressing lungo first time. The first pod also collapsed upon itself, emitting a few drops of caramel before giving up the ghost. It's pot luck if you get a pod that works. Definitely need a minimum of 2 pods, likely 3 for a decent sized cup.I mistakenly thought that this was toffee flavoured coffee, but saw my mistake when I received it and drank my first cup. Its OK, a bit sweet for my taste buds and certainly not cost effective when considering dud pods and how many pods you need to make a full cup, by pressing the espresso button 2/3 times. .I'll likely use them to add a shot of caramel to a Nespresso coffee drink, but certainly won't be buying again.

Is the taste that counts!
The order came very quick, well packed and presented. Also fit it well into the capsules holder we have. In view of other reviews, we tried the capsules as a single unit, which I must admit was slightly thin. But using 2 capsules for 1 cup of chocolate gave excellent results and taste! It makes the chocolate bit more expensive but as they say, it's all in the taste!Yes, will order it again.
