Tyvek 1443R - 6M x 1.542M

Yeah,those of you (us) who researched and found this ...this is it. Exactly what it says, and it came quick and clean. Good stuff. Very happy.

This is the non-housewrap Tyvek, which is excellent as ground cloth and general backpacking save-the-day use. It would also be a good size for use as fabric for constructing bags or small covers.

I use this to make a craft for my daughters birthday. We did kites and they were a hit. It was enough to make 25 pieces and I have some left over! :)

I used this Tyvek to make a DIY ground sheet for my Durston X-mid 2P tent and I have plenty left over for future projects.*Note that Tyvek 1443R is much thinner, lighter, and softer than the Tyvek "Housewrap" used in the construction industry. Also note that this material has a smooth side and a softer more textured side. If you are making something asymmetrical (like my groundsheet) you want to be sure that you orient the Tyvek correctly for your purpose. I was in a hurry and somehow cut the fabric so the more textured side faced down and the slippery side UP. The result is that tree needles and dirt totally stick to the bottom of my ground sheet and the tent floor is very slippery sitting on my groundsheet. So before you cut... make sure slippy side is DOWN and the grippy side is UP! If you added a hood to your diy groundsheet, it could function as a ponch-tarp, though you'd look like a ghost.
