Good buy
For a cheap knife it is very well made I do recommend using some Loctite on the hardware and as far as the case goes it sucks, I have socks that are worth more than that POS so I do recommend getting a decent case or sheath that's made of leather but all in all the knife itself is sharp as hell and the mechanical function of the knife works perfect I am honestly impressed, it's not a buck but for a knockoff it's damn good But get you a good sheath Or case

This REALLY IS a nice quality knife
If you read the low rated reviews the biggest complaint is the knife won't snap open all the way. Mine was the same. The blade is obviously a little tight. However: with a little patience & a little work, you'll end up with a super value knife. All I needed to do was apply some light machine oil with a fine tip oiler to the blade AND lock rocker (the backbone of the knife. It needed oiled from inside & out. I used a can of compressed air to make sure the oil got everywhere that moved. The locking rocker was important to get thoroughly oiled. To be fair.....I purchased both models available from Buck for the 112 auto. The satin model worked fine out of the box. The brass & wood model had a sticking blade exactly like the model I'm reviewing. I had to go through the SAME process with the BUCK knife. The included sheath is sewn & made well, BUT out of very inexpensive vinyl. I'll be using a leather factory BUCK holster which fits the knife perfectly. Oh yeah....the blade is a nice quality blade, not a cheap chrome plated blade. I have no complaints about the scales on the handles either. To wrap it up....I'm extremely pleased with this knife. For $190 less than the Buck knife it's mimicking, it's quite a value and I can save the more expensive Buck knives for show & tell.

Very nice for the price!
I like Buck products , so does Buck. They have quadrupled in price lately. I wanted a simple 112 but the juice ain't worth the squeeze. This model is the same size shape but with silver bolsters. It's also like the 112 auto going for over $200 bucks. With proper care this copy will keep you smiling With its great quality and l look. You can spend over $200 for a similar 112 but you don't have to leave this one sitting in the box! Very sharp and nicely packed. As a collector you'll love it And your friends will envy it. Plus you can use this without worrying about a scratch on your $200+ blade. Buy it, you'll like it. I suggest a good belt case for it. There's a good selection on Amazon

Broken after two months.
The item was delivered 2/22/2025 and less then two months later it broken. The knife will not lock close. I went cheap ant that’s what i got. I decided look at internal fixings. It seems the the screw that holds the spring lock action was loose. I put it back together and one month later the same is happening this time I’m going to put some lock tight on the screw. We it works it works and when it doesn’t work it doesn’t. As the say, you get what you pay for. Also the case is very flimsy, it tore apart about a month ago.

Works as designed
Seems to be well made. Knife is sharp and opens smoothly. Will see how it lasts. I never thought about it but hard for me to open because im left handed. Would be nice if they made one with the button the other side for left handed people.

Nice ! Better than expected
Hello, I just wanted to mention a few words pertaining to the knife purchased. It is definitely a clone to Buck 112 Ranger. I purchased this knife hoping it would be durable enough to handle the cutting work load like my Buck. Well so far so good, for now I'm going to retire my buck. The knife sheath it comes with is an inexpensive type of vinyl, not of good quality. So yes if this particular type of knife your searching for in my opinion is ok....... Note: Per other customers not happy with theirs because it would not fire open completely, mine did, but if yours doesn't .. a little 3 in 1 machine oil in the grooves should solve your problem. Take care!!!

A reasonable copy of a Buck
This is a reasonable copy of a Buck automatic knife. While the fit and finish could be better, the operation is quick and smooth. The release button is a little crude but it works fine. The blade has a nice edge but the durability is an unkown.
