Cavendish & Harvey | Sour Lemon Hard Candy Drops | 5.3 Ounce Tin

Everybody loves the lemon flavor, sweet and sour, quality.

I’ve posted a couple half hearted reviews of a couple different Cavendish & Harvey candies. They’ve all been five star because C&H is a top notch candy company, but they didn’t really trip my trigger like the lemon drops. Cavendish & Harvey Sour Lemon Drops stand apart. Cavendish & Harvey’s, Sour Lemon Drops are the absolute best hard lemon candies on the market. How do I know? Because I’ve tried them all…seriously. I googled “LEMON DROPS” and bought one of everything that populated the search and nothing even came close the natural lemon taste and overall flavor of the Cavendish & Harvey candies. I want an automatic order for these. I love them more than bacon, more than beer, and almost as much as whisky.

These lemon drops are the best I have ever tasted ! They have a sweetness that’s not too sweet and a little tartness that is perfection. Reminds me and my husband of a good lemon shakeup at the fair. Most definitely will buy these again.

We are addicted to these delicious hard candies. Especially the lemon.

Taste: The candies have a good lemon flavor that lasts from start to finish without just turning into generic sweet flavor part way through like a lot of hard candies. It's pleasant, sour in the sense that slightly undersweetened lemonade may be sour, but it is not sour sour. If you're looking for something like a Warhead or Toxic Waste candy, these aren't it, so you'll be quite disappointed in that regard. Appearance: They're about the same size as a cap for your typical bottle of soda, though about 3/4th as thick, and slightly indented in the middle, with the color of the inside of a lemon, and the typical smoothness of a hard candy. They come dusted with some white powder (not the good kind) that is a bit sweet, but there's a complete lack of ingredients on the label to know what it is, though I would guess some sort of powdered sugar or sweetened starch to keep them from sticking together. It's not unpleasant, but it doesn't really add anything. Overall, a top-tier piece of lemon candy that's a good price for the quality of the product and amount. If you're looking for something super sour, you won't find it here, but if you want just a hint of the sourness of eating a lemon, this is it.

I bought this candy for the old Town charm. Just looking at it brings me back to childhood memories.

This is advertised as sour. I expected sour. Dr recommended sour. You should take them back to taste. Highly disapointef

WONDERFUL - Strong lemon flavor This isn't SUPER sweet. it takes a long time to dissolve. There is a bit of sourness but nothing like a SoUr CaNdY. The powder isn't a sour agent. These are my favorite lemon hard candies. I have been on a lemon kick lately and I've tried a bunch of different ones without artificial dyes, artificial flavorings, or unhealthy sweeteners.

Yeah right, pack of 12. You only get pack of one! Total false advertising. O.K. went up to 3 stars. Company refunded my money immediately and posted apology. Thank you.
