Quick & Easy Mosaics Color-by-Number

perfect for a rainy day

My father in law was a computer programmer who happened to be a pretty good artist! Unfortunately, as his dementia progressed, he was unable to continue with his drawing. He had a lot of anxiety over how to "program" the pictures and was anxious about using the wrong color. This coloring book gave him back the ability to do artistic things independently. I robbed pencils from various sets to match them with the colors given on the back of the book and used masking tape to number each pencil with the appropriate color. He spends several hours each day coloring and is proud of his achievements. We even have to frame them. This book has brought my FIL much joy. Thank you.

Came a little bent up in the package, wish it had come with nice corners and not messed up. The color chart is not given by the picture or on the back of the previous picture, it’s given on the back of the book so you have to keep referring to the back of the book to see what color to do next. I also wish it used more pretty or variety of colors. It’s a lot of shades of green, orange, and blue. No purple or pinks listed (there is like a very dark magenta pink but no pretty light pink)

I absolutely love this coloring book! I enjoy relaxing and coloring in adult coloring books but often would find myself pondering over what colors to use and where (not exactly relaxing if you’re a perfectionist like myself). This book is very detailed, tasteful and has beautiful adult coloring pages with a suggested color by number chart in the book.

My wife likes this book so much she's asked for a repeat purchase. She colors while viewing DVDs. She sends finished pictures to friends, and has had more than one framed. These could easily end up in the future in antique shops just like the paint-by-number completed art pieces which have now become collectable.

Love this coloring book! It’s easy to see the numbers that coincide with the colors! My granddaughter loves it to because it’s not too intricate that she gets bored trying to fill in the spots. More open spaces and not too many.

I bought this for my brother-in-law who is an adult with down syndrome. He had no previous adult coloring experience and he loved this book! I bought him a pack of 60 colored markers and taught him how to match the number to the appropriate colored marker. He has been so proud of his work!

I am sort of torn on how to rate this book. I like mosaics and color by number. I like that the pages are single sided. I don't like that on some of the pages there is no background and on others there is half a background done in the color by number mosaic design. I feel that the page should have been completely designed and not just half way. It makes the image appear incomplete. That is really my only complaint, but enough of one to deduct a star.

A little too easy but it did the trick. I'm not sure the paper could handle markers without bleeding on to the other page. It's ok if the colors aren't exact, I think it still looks nice.I would recommend this book .

livre parfait pour les personnes avec problèmes de vue! Cases assez grandes, petite palette de couleurs. Un dessin par page. Acheté pour une dame de 78 ans et elle a adoré. Il faudrait demander à l'auteur de publier d'autres livres de cette qualité. Le coloriage est une activité praticable entre 3 et 100 ans mais les livres actuels proposent surtout des dessins aux petits détails. Proposer des livres de coloriages pour enfants à des personnes âgées n'est pas très adapté. Les sujets préférés étant les fleurs, la nature morte et les paysages........
