Great for family time I would say for kids under 15 probably. Love it

I have a huge selection of games and from the moment I got this for at least 6 months, it was the only game my 7 yr old niece wanted to play and it's a bonus that I enjoy it too! A year later, it's still her most frequently picked game. There are multiple components to the game as you work your way to all the witnesses. You use the red card reader to see the clue. They might say, "the culprit had glasses " but before you can eliminate all the suspects without glasses, you have to get to Mrs. Wise because she always tells the truth so if she said the person who told you about the glasses is lying, that means the suspect does not have glasses and you can proceed to cross out the ones who do. You also have to get to the spy to find out where they are hiding. For mrs wise and the spy, you can read the backward clue in a mirror or rub the card with your hand and the heat causes some of the letters to stand out. It is a really cute game. My niece is an advanced reader but i would think most 7 - 10 yr olds can play this and, again, it was fun for me as an adult. There are 40 different scenarios but i can't imagine anyone could remember who did what by the time you worked your way back to that mystery again. I do wish they sold refill pads but it won't be hard to print more.

My granddaughter loves any type of mystery game and she absolutely loves this one. She enjoys collecting the clues and figuring out each mystery case. It’s a great family game night addition.
