I have had almost a year and have enjoyed it. Fast and great for working from home. Works great to remote into work

Arrived in good condition. The cooling fan is louder than my older HP laptop and the positioning is blowing towards the screen. No USB C!!!!, I just realized today 3/3/25 when I wanted to connect an external SSD. The weight is very light due to the material used in general comparing to other laptops that seem more robust. The speed is okay for the functions that I need, mainly browsing market data using API. The graphics card adapts well to big monitors and is fast enough for graph displays.

Perfect laptop for my wife to work from home. All the best features and powerful enough to handle the toughest tasks.

This overall is a decent laptop, but it's not the amazing deal that I thought it was. Despite what the specs say, it does NOT have a 4K display. It's 1920x1080. And it does NOT have a dedicated NVIDIA video card with 4GB of dedicated RAM. It has an Intel Iris Xe with 1GB of dedicated RAM. I've since been notified by the vendor that that portion of the product description is handled by Amazon AI and the description is not something they have the ability to edit. I'm still trying to get it to handle videos with Serato DJ Pro, but if I can't get it to work in the next day or so, this rig will be returned.

This review is for the: Dell Business Inspiron 3520 15.6" Laptop, Intel Core i7-1255U Processor, 64GB RAM, 2TB SSD, Webcam, HDMI, SD-Card Slot, Wi-Fi 6, Windows 11 Pro, BlackI am a college professor and I use very demanding software. Software such as Autocad, Mathcad, Automation Studio, Studio 5000 (Rockwell), and Siemens Step7 programs are big and make demands on computer hardware. The Dell 3520 (in the above configuration) has performed better than my expectations. The 64 Gbytes of RAM allows multiple demanding programs to run simultaneously. The WiFi-6 hardware (802.11ax) connects flawlessly to busy college systems. I chose to purchase a Basues USB docking station to facilitate Ethernet connections and additional USB, video, and memory card slots.

You can't complain about the performance with 64GB. To get that much memory for the price is worth it. The only thing I miss is a backlit keyboard. And it doesn't have a power light. When you first turn it on, the caps lock key lights but doesn't stay on. So if the computer goes to sleep or doesn't shut down properly you can't tell if it's still on. But other than that I'm really happy with this laptop and think it's a great deal for the price.
