Over the years, one task has eluded and driven me mad... sharpening pencils! Its something I have had no success with as I am left handed and all hand held sharpers are for right handed people. I finally bit the bullet and order this item. Pencil sharpening is now a joy, with rows of pristine pointed pencils :)The item is USB powered and comes with a small 5v supply, but can be powered off a laptop etc. Noise-wise, it is very low, and sharpening is simple done by pushing in a pencil from the top for up to 5 seconds. The results are a clean cut point without any dramas. Very happy, and great price break. If you are a "leftie" this is the Sharpener for you!

This works well and is easy to empty. It also comes with replacement sharpeners which I thought was really handy. Just remember to hold the pencil firmly while using it and your pencil will be as sharp as ever.

Saved time and energy sharpening my big coloured pencils for start of new session.

Although I don’t have much call to use the larger sharpener this smart little machine is perfect for all my pencils in the smaller ‘normal’ size one! Very neat 👌🏻

I teach in a UK primary school and we use the standard Staedtler yellow and black pencils. The pencils are too small for the sharpener so don’t sharpen at all. It works really well on our colouring pencils so it’s a good sharpener but gutted I can’t seem to find a replacement blade that would fit a smaller pencil.

It doesn't work. I bought this for school, used it once with the charging cable and it worked. Next time I used it it wouldn't turn on so I inserted new batteries instead of using the cable and it still won't work. Because I bought it before I needed it, the return window has now closed.

Pas vargeux avec les crayons pastels, casse les mines. Je ne l'ai pas retourné car le retour n'est pas payé.

For some reason this shows up as being delivered by March 1, but it arrived a couple of weeks ago. It works as intended and I am very pleased with it.

The media could not be loaded. Ha sido un regalo genial para mi hija, que al final lo usamos toda la familia. Es un aparato pequeño, facil de usar y muy cómodo. Tan solo meter la pintura o el lápiz y ya saca punta automáticamente. No tiene bateria, pero tiene dos modalidades de conexión, o por pilas o enchufado a la corriente. Nosotros le hemos puesto pilas y lleva con ellas más de 6 meses y no se han gastado. Es un regalo maravilloso para un niño, les encanta.
