Used this in my craft room and I daisy chained 4 led strip lights for brighter light. It works amazing! Haven't had an issue yet, but I will say don't put a ton of stuff in front of the outlet you're using, it makes it harder for the signal from the remote to turn on the outlet.

I love this. Plugged my shop vac in my workshop into it and now I can turn it on and off with ease! No more bending over or chasing over to when the shop vac is. Should have gotten it a long time ago!

I use this to turn on a desk lamp next to my bed. The only draw back is that the remote doesn't always response to pushing it. It eventually responses. Sometimes to a deep tap and sometimes to a light tap. I've not seen a pattern yet. It also helps to point it directly at the remote plug in.

I bought these for my mother-in-law since her lights are those where you need to physically turn the switch next to the bulb. The remote is a game changer and reduces her fall risk at home. This way she does not have to lean over and risk falling to just turn the lights on.The remote comes with a keychain attached to it and battery already installed. Therefore, you can hang the remote up somewhere or you can carry it with you, if you wanted to. The remote seems kind of fragile so I would not recommend carrying it around. There are two light bulb images at the top of the remote. The left bulb is shown as lit and the right bulb is shown as not being lit. These are supposed to resemble ON and OFF. Therefore, you need to press on the end of the button for whether you want to turn the outlet on or off and not on the middle of the button.The outlets are already preprogrammed so all you need to do is plug it in. To activate, you need to press the on/off button on the side of each outlet. Each outlet has a number on the back that matches the number on the remote. For instance, the #1, #2, and #3. That makes it easy to know which outlet you want to plug in at a certain area. There may be a slight delay when turning on/off but it is pretty negligible.I think these are excellent for people that are elderly, people that have hard to reach switches, or those that want the convenience of using a remote. However, I wish it came with two remotes. That way the remote is not carried between rooms. This is the biggest drawback I see at the moment.I am happy with this purchase and I would purchase these again for their convenience and ease of use.

We have a string of Edison lights hung up in our garage and they’re plugged into a ceiling outlet. We had to climb up and down to plug and unplug them. This nifty outlet adapter with remote allows us to turn them on and off without having to drag the ladder out. Works really well.

All my lights are at my command without depending on my computer's WI-FI, Internet or even Alexa! The remote uses an RF transmitter, so I don't even have to point an infrared transmitter towards a receiver. RF passes through walls, so I can turn on the garage light or outside security lights from an upstairs bedroom if I want to. I can even control all five lights with one button for security purposes. This is something everybody needs!

So far it's worked great. My kid has one of those captain beds where you can go under it. I put the plug at the other end and put up string lights. When he opens the little door to go under the bed the remote is there, he pushes the button and the lights go on right away.
