It didn't come with much in the line of instructions making it hard to determine the right settings

This device is fun, instructions are in Chinese FIRST and English is an ALTRENATIVE in the menu.
This gadget a small learning curve. Learn the small font menus. Once you plug in the device and extend the mini antennas pitch and volume are easy to operate like other Theremins on the market. Experiment to find the tone sweet spots for control. The tones will be very close to the antenna reception. Some tones are touchy and will only activate sometimes. (This might be from me not having the device calibrated first). I need to explore the sub menus more. Overall, this is a great SXF maker. If you can record the noises and tone you will be amazed, I keep thinking of the kid detector noises in the movie "Monsters INC". Have fun with it.

Magia
Una joya. Manejando bien las frecuencias y filtrandolo con efectos externos es una maravilla.

I think mine is broken, or just simply cheap
I was very excited to get this instrument. I am physically disabled so I cannot play any traditional instruments like the flute, piano or guitar. This sounded cool. You’re supposed to just wave your hand close to the antenna and it makes sounds like the introduction for the Doctor Who TV show. However I followed all the instructions, I set it to English, and I extended and put all of the antennas in the correct positions.I plugged it in and it started making a low pitch whining noise. So I’m like cool it’s working. I slowly brought my hand towards the antenna nothing. I waved it up and down, nothing.I then actually touched the antenna. And then it screeched extremely loud. so it’s like there’s no in between. It’s either a low humming noise, or a high-pitched squeal. I cannot play a song. I’ve tried going very slow, I’ve tried going fast, I’ve tried my right hand and my left hand. I’ve tried up and down. Yet nothing. It only makes the tone change when I physically wrap my fingers around the antenna. That’s not how this is supposed to work. All in all, extremely disappointed. I’m not sure if it’s because I bought this off of Amazon but I wish I could get a refund. I just have a weird box sitting on my coffee table now.

Uhm, no
Welp. Read the reviews before buying. It’s a very cool looking little device, but no substance or great sound, and almost zero instructions. Fiddled with it for an hour and it’s going into a drawer for posterity to figure out.
