Durable rangefinder that just works
I finally decided to get a rangefinder after my brother told me how much he liked his. This was very reasonably priced (after coupon), and so far I am really liking it. It is well built, and includes many features such as distance (yards/meters), height, and angle. Distance to flag is the primary mode I used. The size of the rangefinder is good, it fits very comfortably in my hand. It is a little akward to use while wearing glasses, though not a deal breakter. It just doesn't seem as comfortable/stable as when you the eyepiece right up against your eye and can stabilize it against your face. I imagine this is an issue with all rangefinders though. The LCD screen is clear and easy to read once you get your eye properly aligned. The distances shown were very accurate as best I could tell, good enough for me anyway as an intermediate golfer. I found the vibration it makes when it locks on the flagpole to be very helpful. It was a relief to see that it uses the newer USB C connector for charging. Too many devices still use the old usb connectors and I look forward to when this becomes the new universal standard for USB connectors. Battery life is great, no issues at all there so far.The construction of the rangefinder body is solid and well designed. It feels like you could throw it against a wall and it would be just fine, so dropping it isn't likely to do anything to it. The built-in magnet was handy since it made attaching the unit to my golf cart a snap (pun intended). It's small and light enough to simply carry in your pocket as well (my preference). The included case has various methods of attaching it to your golf bag, cart, or even your clothing. It does have a little heft to it when the rangefinder is inside, so the latter may not be ideal. Most of the time I just left the case attached it to my golf bag via the included carabiner.Make sure to read the the instructions carefully to understand how the different modes work and what to push to access them. I would have been lost if I tried to figure this out through trial and error. Be sure to give yourself some time learning to use the rangefinder and it's many features.Overall, I am very happy with it. It's compact, looks cool, and does what it's supposed to.

Great Buy
This is a great rangefinder for the money. I have no complaints with it. I like that it has the magnet so i can stick it to the cart. Seems to be accurate too. Numbers usually match my other range finding devices. Im not a pro golfer, I dont need to know distances to within 1 inch. I'm not that guy. I just need something that gives me a general idea and I have no complaints with the function, clarity, yardages, ease of use. I would recommend this.

Fantastic Value vs. the Alternatives
I recently got my hands on the Flysocks Golf Range Finder, and after using it for a few rounds, here are my thoughts:Pros:• Great Range: This range finder is impressive, measuring distances up to 800 yards. It’s been super helpful, especially on those long par-5s where you need precise measurements.• Long-Lasting Battery: The battery life is fantastic. I’ve gone through several rounds without needing to recharge, which is a big plus. No one wants their range finder dying mid-game!• Slope Adjustment: The ability to switch slope adjustment on and off is a game-changer. It’s perfect for casual rounds on hilly courses and can be turned off for tournaments where slope readings aren’t allowed.• Strong Magnet: The built-in magnet is a brilliant feature. It’s strong enough to stick securely to a golf cart, so it’s always within reach and easy to grab between shots.• Compact and Lightweight: It’s small and light, which makes it easy to carry around. I just pop it in my pocket or attach it to the cart without worrying about extra weight.Cons:• Target Dot Visibility: One downside is that the target dot can be a bit hard to see at times. This can lead to false readings if you miss the pin by just a little, which can be frustrating.• Learning Curve: There’s a bit of a learning curve to using it, especially if you’re new to range finders. It took me a few tries to get the hang of aiming it correctly and reading the measurements.• Lacks Advanced Features: While it’s great for basic use, it doesn’t have some of the fancy features like GPS or Bluetooth that you’ll find in more expensive models. If you’re a tech lover, this might be a minor letdown.Overall:The Flysocks Golf Range Finder is a solid piece of gear. Its excellent range, battery life, and handy slope adjustment make it a great tool for improving your game. The strong magnet is a bonus for those who like to keep it on their golf cart. Sure, the target dot visibility and lack of advanced features are a bit of a drawback, but for the price, it offers fantastic value and reliable performance. If you’re looking for a dependable range finder without breaking the bank, this one’s definitely worth considering.
