Some are easy, others are more time consuming.....but well worth the effort.Photos are great, inspiring and really makes you want to get the oven on and start baking.Well laid out, so easy to delve in and find something that you want to make........FABULOUS

interesting book, wide range of recipes, some complicated some not so. Bit of thought needed for UK bakers because of Americanisms and ingredients, but well worth it.

This one was just not for me and I think this is the first time I ever returned a book on Amazon. I love their magazines and thought it would be great to have the book, however I was expecting much more for a hardcover book of that price. The photos were good and the paper quality of the book as well. But the recipes felt too ordinary, something you can easily find on Google.

I started with purchasing one of the Bake from Scratch books, & ended up buying them all including preordering the 6th edition within a few months of the original purchase. These books are absolutely fantastic, recipes always turn out, include some savoury recipes although most are sweet, has something for all ability levels, & each recipe is photographed beautifully. This series definitely falls into the food porn category. While I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase all books from this series, I would encourage you to consider purchasing via your local book shop whenever possible .

I've had this book on my wishlist for a long time, and finally purchased it several months ago. It's big, beautiful, and I wish I would have bought it much, much earlier. I picked one recipe from each section to start out with, and I've been having so much fun with recipes I've either always wanted to try but may have been too afraid to, or just recipes I may not have wanted to try at first glance. Every recipe has come out wonderful, and the directions are easy to follow. There's a picture for each recipe, and they make you want to bake everything. I even made eclairs, and I never thought I would have been able to do it. They were so, so good and I could have easily eaten them all myself. But you can't do that, so I had to make sure I gave most of them away.I've never seen the magazine this book is coming from, but I will say I plan on purchasing every annual book that comes out! I wouldn't hesitate to get this book, and would recommend it everyone.

Lots of recipes properly described. Ingredients measurement in both ways(metric and volume)...even the eggs, which was very helpful to me. Looking forward to buy rest of the volumes.
