Leather Sewing Thread Stitching String - DIY Craft Flat Waxed Cord 284 Yards (Light Yellow)

I bought this cord to braid for the pendants that I have. A simple three cord braid makes this into a very attractive and professional looking cord for stones and other pendants where silver or gold simply doesn't match the natural style. Make a loop on one end and a gem stone bead on the other and you have a toggle cord that apparently would cost you $30! I asked an artist that sells beautiful New Zealand jewelery how much the cords would be and I was blown away. Granted, they are very nice looking and are time consuming to make, but I've saved ALOT of money by buying this spool of cord! To melt the ends of the cord to prevent them from unraveling and to give it a finished look I use a solder iron to touch the ends quickly and seal them together.

In a lot of ways this thread is just like Tiger Thread. It's just as smooth to stitch with, it's not overly waxy, it doesn't kink up, BUT it's not as good quality wise as Tiger Thread. When I put the needle through it to lock it on, I could see it starting to separate a bit.If you're stitching something that's not going to get tugged on a lot, this is a great thread for the money

This stuff is garbage. Has no wax on it at all hardly, the wind is loose, and the dye is a joke! Its yellow thread as soon as stitch something cuz most of the dye rubs off before you are done. I literally had to unstitch my project to use something else. This stuff is like a spool of chalk line twine or something along those lines and thats all I'd use it for.

Bought this to hand sew leather goods. No as heavily waxed as the Tandy product that leaves wax behind as you pull the thread. I love this thread. The color offerings are also fantastic.

Worked great for what needed. Has perfect amount of wax to give that extra grab needed for bead work.

LOVE IT!! Used it for the webbing on a dreamcatcher. Granddaughter loves the color. Only dislike is that the spool is tall, but managed it anyways.

I really enjoy using this thread to make leather goods. It's heavily waxed making it smooth and robust. I ordered it in white and black as well.

I was looking for cord to start micro macrame and a I guess this is not it but my husband used it for stitching leather and it worked really well.That seems to be its intended purpose. It arrived really quickly.
