The Complete Handbook of Sand Casting (AVIATION)

Written by somebody who knows what they are talking about, if you are thinking about doing some casting you should read this - I dare say many people working in foundries would learn something too. I've changed my plans from making a one off motorbike engine to building an electric bike, so I've shelved plans for casting, but I'm still reading this book intently, as it teaches you things you didn't even know you should know.

Absolutely loved it, not fully finished it yet as i need to finish my burner,but gives excellent advice to someone starting out in this fascinating hobby and experienced foundry men alike!

This books is a very detailed account of the authors many years of experience in the field. A great introduction and I suspect there's a few things in here veterans in the field would be interested in.

A really informative book, the information is well set out with examples and terms used.

本書は砂型を使用して鋳造品を作る方法について詳しく書かれています。 従来は経験的に親方から弟子へ伝えられていく物でしたが、知識についてはこの本で技術が伝承されていくでしょう。 本書を読めばとりあえず基本はわかると思いますが、知識だけでなく、実務経験は重要だと思います。 この分野に興味のある方には是非ともお勧めです。

Grandfather had this book and I can see why now years later on. It has a lot of long forgotten methods and processes. Bring in inner sand crab out by reading this book.
