Compared to other coffees from Vietnam, this one doesn't have the rich chocolate type of taste so typical for coffee from the fields in this geographical region. Would not spend again money on this item.

Don't be fooled by the packaging. This tastes like the lowest grade dry, stale coffee you can get from your local supermarket.

"Ca Phe Dalat" et "Good Morning" ont un petit goût de cacao en plus de l'excellente saveur de café. Très original. Le pur "Arrabica" est ordinaire, le "Chon" avec ajout d'un produit animal ( la civette) est trop spécial pour moi, avec un goût d'olive, je n'ai pas aimé.

As a Sunday morning cafetiere drinker I do like to experiment and find new coffees. I spent a lot of time in South East Asia working and so finding a Vietnamese coffee on Amazon, i had to try it out. The package came and on opening there is a rich Coffee aroma coming from the smooth grounds and I set the kettle to boil. Warming up the cafetière pot and putting two good desert spoon measures of coffee into the pot and poured the hot water. Once it was brewed and poured the flavour is very rich and smooth. It develops a hint of a sweet aftertaste, but not bitter in any way. It lingers well on the palate and demands another sip. Its a good coffee, I don't think you will be disappointed.

Upon opening the bag, I didn’t have that fresh coffee smell that I was looking for. The taste was decent. It is expensive for the quantity given.

meine gattin und ich sind passionierte kaffeetrinker. für die "grundversorgung" im alltag trinken wir meist den black& white kaffee der bekannten kaffeemarke, der meiner meinung nach der beste im low budget bereich ist. zum geniessen und für besondere momente haben wir auch immer eine exquisite sorte. ich kenne inzwischen sehr viele sorten, inkl. blue mountain coffee, aber habe noch keinen kaffee getrunken der so schmeckt wie dieser aus vietnam. ehrlich gesagt war mir bis vor kurzem gar nicht bewusst, dass in vietnam kaffee angebaut wird. die klimatischen bedingungen sind optimal und so war ich sehr gespannt! bei dem recht hohen preis erwarte ich natürlich etwas besonderes und ich wurde nicht enttäuscht, sondern bin sehr begeistert. der kaffee schmeckt sehr intensiv und kräftig, aber kein bisschen bitter, er wurde bestimmt auf niedriger temperatur langsam geröstet. er hat eine ausgeprägte kakaonote, ähnlich dunkler schokolade und erinnert schon fast an wiener melange. wahnsinn, das ist einfach köstlich und superlecker, man hat noch nach minuten den geschmack im mund. so empfiehlt sich dieser kaffee für den bewussten genuss, zum runterkippen am frühen morgen ist er zu schade. ich habe mir erstmal die kleine packung zum probieren gekauft, werde dann auch mal die ganzen bohnen probieren, frisch gemahlen schmeckt kaffee einfach am besten. allen freunden von guten und individuellen kaffees kann ich den ca phe dalat wärmstens empfehlen, eine absolute topsorte!
