Must Have With Off-Brand Oil Housings
As others have said, these are a must have if you’re ordering an off-brand (non-Mopar) oil filter housing for a Dodge/Chrysler vehicle. The o-rings are usually what causes the blowout, so you want to be sure the o-rings going on the new part fit right and last as long as possible.I’m only 200 miles in after install, but I have no leaks! The quality of the rings was easy to compare to the cheap ones that came on the housing I bought, and removal/replacing the rings was very easy. They fit perfectly and are definitely worth the extra $18 when replacing the housing!

Fit 2016 jeep GC/3.6 pentastar
I installed these in October of 2024 and it is now may of 2025 and i have had no issues. I installed this with an aftermarket metal oil cooler in my 2016 jeep grand cherokee and they have worked great. There were better quality than what came with the cooler.

How come they were not recommended when searching on amazon?
I bought 3 aftermarket sets until I stumbled upon these. If you changed your oil filter housing you need these, even if the new housing came with a set of gaskets. They are almost double the thickness to the point I thought they will not work because they were too big, but I from finding oil under my van every morning to leak free for a few months now. What drove me insane is that they were cheaper, higher quality and work, yet they were not recommended when I was searching for them ok amazon. I had to search by part number after discovering this fact on a few online forums. If you are replacing an oil filter housing save yourself the headache and get these and install them from the get go. I had to remove and install the hosing 5-6 times thinking I was doing something wrong

A must have for Dodge/Chrysler oil cooler
If you purchace an aftermarket oil cooler for your Dodge Grand Caravan or Chrysler Town and Country Van, do yourself a favor and buy these genuine Mopar oil cooler seals. Ditch the Chinese junk seals, and use these instead. My aftrmarket cooler was fine. Aluminum vs. the old plastic factory cooler that warped after 100k miles. The seals that came with the new cooler were not all sized correctly, and lo and behold, after 1 month an oil leak! A bad one! I read reviews on these Mopar seals, so I ordered a set. Problem solved. 1 extra seal was included along with instructions in case you had a different sized oil fitting. This was a moderately challenging operation. Not too bad. However, having to do it a 2nd time was not so nice. If only you could read this review before you run into the aftermarket seal blues. One final note. When placing the oil cooler in position, it should not take a serious amount of effort, if the seals are correctly fitted. I actually Had to fight it a bit. Therein lay the problem. One wrongly sized o-ring. The seal went in tight, and was scuffed, and as a result not sealed properly. Good luck with your project.
