SwimWays Baby Spring Float with Canopy for Kids 9-24 Months

I scoured the internet to find some type of pool float for very young babies. My infant was 3 months old when I bought this and the reviews convinced me that my baby didn't need to sit up on her own for this one. I was right. There is no hole in the middle (as pictured and described) and your infant can literally lay comfortably on this floaty while others hang out in the pool. This is NOT to say that you should leave your baby alone in it. The cover provides a little shade for your baby's head but his or her legs will be exposed... and possibly more depending on the sun's angle. I bought a ubv-protecting umbrella which we prop by the side of the pool and we keep my girl in the shade. I will add: I did remove some air from the second of the floaty where she's actually laying... it bubbles up a little big and she seemed really uncomfortable. Decreasing the air volume helped a lot. We've used this four times now and I have no complaints. The last time we actually convinced my girl to take a cat-nap which speaks to how comfortable this float is. The first time we put her in it, she was 3.5 months (and she's on the bigger end of the growth chart, height-wise) and the last time she used it she was 4.75 months old. Her little friend is 6 months old and he fit into it as well. You all already know this but I'll repeat it again: don't leave your baby unattended in this.

We love this and have used it several times. My only complaints is that this is for younger babies but the seat is so big they fall over. The seat should be a little bit more narrow or have shoulder straps or something. I kinda just lay her in it diagonal at this point which isn’t ideal. This is however the only thing I’ve found like this on the market and since I also have a toddler, I really enjoy having something to let the baby float next to me so I can play with both kiddos. I also wish the sun shade came a tiny bit higher. The babies that are small enough to use this safely are also not supposed to be using sunscreen and I find myself having to use something else to cover her legs to keep her shaded. Or I use myself as a shade. All in all I would still buy this again as it is the only thing like it and it’s made summer still enjoyable. I’ve recommended it several times as the best way to let baby be in the water but not submerged fully. **they do get a bit of water in the seat it is not completely dry** (this works great to keep them cool. If SwimWays reads this please make a more narrow option or some kind of inserts or better straps.

Working good as advertised

This float is AMAZING. I started using this when my daughter was 4 months old (she is now 7 months and I feel like there is still room for her to grow into it. My two older kids love to swim and it’s nice to be able to pop her in the float and be able to get into the pool with the big kids while the baby observes. She really gets a kick out of it. It is SUPER EASY to inflate using just the power of your lungs. What I love is that since it sits far enough out of the pool I was able to keep her mostly dry if I needed to, or I could easily just scoop water into the lounger to cool her down. The canopy is a great feature and you can either have it directly overhead or lock it in a “cabana” kind of way. I do agree with other reviewers that said their baby slid to one side. I had that same issue too- I tried everything to straighten out the issue but it just boils down to it being a blow up float. It is definitely not going to take over the job of watching your baby of course anytime you take a child to a pool you need to watch them like a hawk. I would absolutely purchase this again. If you are a parent of multiple kids this is a great tool to take on vacation or have on deck if you own a pool.

Took this to Cancun and it comes in a circle bag. It flattens out so it doesn’t take much space. Easy and light weight to carry. Baby loved it, and even took naps in it while in the pool. Has a little shade for baby and it worked well. We used it everyday we went in the water with my son. Felt safe with him in it and seatbelt on as well. Floats perfectly above water, no issues with sinking or any of that. My baby is 4 months for reference and is a big baby. We were also able to dry it out and pack it back up to go home with no issues. Will be using it again for the pool back home.

My son loves floating around in this! I love that I can secure him into it since he is so little! Definitely a better option than the floats they sit in and have their legs dangle if your baby is (in my opinion) younger than 6ish months (or just teeny). The only thing I don’t love is when it’s fully inflated, as obviously it should be for safety, the backrest area has very little give and he tends to lean to one side. If it had more of a curve to the backrest it would be easier for him to lounge. The sunshade is nice, but doesn’t fully cover babies legs, have to make sure I keep the sun to the back of the float where it’s blocked best. Overall great for little babies.

My little guy is 3 months old now and we still use it. We started using it at 2 months as he was allowed to go into salt water and we live in Florida. I love that he gets to enjoy the water and just chills in the floaty. Pros: Can add water into seat area so they still sit in water Can sleep in it Easy to use and inflate, can carry babe in and out of water in it Provides shade but have to angle away from sun Cons: Shade exposes legs and feet so you have to hold the visor sometimes instead of clipping in the back to keep it in place, I would unclip it and hold it directly above him so he was completely covered Baby slants to one side, doesn't lay in the middle but always to one side Hard to put back into the carrier option

Justo lo que buscaba

Took this to Mexico for my 5 month old, she loved it! It was easy to inflate and deflate, came with a canopy for shade and she napped while in the pool. I just looked at a video on YouTube by swim ways on how to fold it up and it fit right back into the case. Highly recommend this!

My little one loves laying in this in the water, it’s great quality and easy to set up! (Not to mention how cute they look in it!) I haven’t found a way to easily store after it’s been used as I find it difficult to pack the way it came but this floaty is great!

Muy buena calidad, el bebé se moja muy poco y le cubre del sol muy bien. Es cansado inflarlo sino tienes una bomba manual pero es muy bonito.
