This is my second purchase only because the flag finally broke lose from the stick,,,, I could have sewn it back on but the price was right

I've got about 11 of these around the yard. Flag with the strings; forget it... they break rather quickly. Get the flags that are folded around a piece of plastic, that fit over the end. Plastic pole.. still the best... though strong winds we had here in Alabama broke 2 of them, still better than the metal poles that just rust, and need tape.

Perfect for my uses around here. Easy to put together and install.

Just what I expected.

I have had one of these flags on my backyard putting green for about a year. The pole is fine but the cup and flag are not quality at all. The cup has chipped around the top edge about half way around the cup. It is made of cheap plastic and I'm sure with having left it in the ground through last winter and the hot summer this year, led to the problem. Still the cup should have held up much longer than one year. The flag is held onto the pole with string that is included in the kit. The string just falls apart within months and the flag either flies off the pole or just hangs there due to one or more strings just deteriorating from the weather. After several months of use the strings were totally ripped from the flag. They are sown into the flag so when they broke I just tied it to the flag again with the string that was left. After several months of this there is no string left to tie. I had to buy a grommet set and punch holes in the flag and attach grommets to the flag to hold string to the pole. I used a heavier cord that I had lying around the house to fix the issue. I have two putting green holes in my backyard so I received another one of these flags last Christmas. I had placed the first one in the first green I made, last September, so it was only in the ground for a couple months last year (2021) and then has been in the ground all of this year. The second flags strings had already ripped loose from it's flag months ago, so I fixed both with grommets at the same time. Had I known that these flags were that cheaply made I would have never asked for the second one for Christmas. I will probably just buy a more commercially made cup and flag for next year for both holes. I would not recommend this product for long term use.

We have several of these flagsticks for our little golf Green. They work out very well. Seem durable, fit right, & have held up well (even with deer coming thru to check them out). The price was quite reasonable & arrived quickly.
