Extra Strength Clear

I decided to try these on Subscribe & Save because they were currently available at a better price than the Breathe Right strips. They work just as well and the 50 count means a box lasts almost 2 months. The Extra Strength also do a better job of opening the airway than the regular ones of any brand (we've also used generic store brands). I'm not kept awake by hubby snoring when he uses sleep strips, and I occasionally use them as well when I have a stuffy nose due to colds or allergies. He has an average large-ish "guy nose" and I have an average small-ish "gal nose" and they work for both of us. Positioning is important, because you want the tension pulling your airways open. With my smaller nose, I have to be careful not to place the strip too high or the corner tabs will pull down under my eyelids and I'll wake up with dry eyes. It's also important to make sure your nose is clean and dry, and to hold the strip in place briefly after applying. Note, the pictures are taken with the paper backing still attached, but the strips themselves are actually clear. They also don't leave residue behind when you take them off. First, the value is superior -- much more for the money. Secondly, they stay put much better -- other brands lift on the ends at the slightest moisture or if they get touched accidentally. Finally, THEY'RE EASY TO REMOVE -- unlike some brands that will only come off if you bathe your nose in oily cream or water so that you don't pull the skin off your nose!! This clear brand is perfect for my sensitive skin while it assures that I'm going to breathe easily so that I can fall asleep. This is my new GO-TO brand for strips, and I'll continue to buy them on Amazon: hopefully, the price will hold out as they become more popular. PS -- For those who gave review that the strips came off, you can't place any strip on the nose if you've used any substance on the skin -- skin creams, petroleum jelly, makeup, and even water will repel the adhesive (this is a basic law of physics). BUT, when it's time to take them off in the morning, apply vaseline or skin cream or baby oil with a rubbing motion along the strip as it lifts off. ALSO -- if your skin is really when the strip is applied, it will stick to your nose like cement (which is what you want) -- Then, Considering this tip for removal of the strip, there should be no problem with adhesion.KP Harwell

I tried these because I was tired of paying such a high price for the name brand nasal strips. I do wear one almost every night due to chronic stuffiness. These work very well and make it easy to breathe, although the adhesion is not quite as good as the name brand but if you squeeze them on your clean and dry skin and hold it 20 seconds or so, they stick really well. Really my biggest complaint is more with the packaging, and not the actual product. The paper packaging enclosing each nasal strip is not easy to open and I often just tear the paper instead of trying to pull the tabs apart to reveal the product. But hey, for the savings it's no big deal. These nasal strips stick very well as long as you wash your face/nose beforehand (and dry well) to remove any skin oil. If I don't do that they have a hard time obtaining the full adhesion. I am satisfied with these and will purchase gain.

These are good for the price but they do have a strange issue that others have mentioned that affects comfort. There is a cut-out hear the end that tends to get stuck to things, for will flair out making causing my nose to sometimes tickle or look strange do tho these “vents” I guess you could call it. They are a little bulkier than I would like but adhesion is great, just make sure to clear all oils from the nasal bridge area If Breathe Right is sold out I would definitely use these. They get the job done but not as well as BR brand.

I ordered these for my husband. He snores loudly and regularly wakes me up through the night. These were a good price and seemed to have some interesting features that the other brands had, so I bought them. First things first - it helps when you read the instructions on the back of the box. The first night he wore it, it did peel up a bit, but the second night was a huge success. Here’s the thing - you absolutely have to make sure you apply it to a clean nose. My husband just washed his face and throughly dried his nose before applying the second night. Also, you have to make sure that you apply it to the correct part of the nose (instructions help with that). There are these little cuts on each side of the dilator that open up the airways if applied correctly. Last night was the first night I have slept soundly without being woken up in months. I also tried one for myself and I am going to start using them as well. I have had a lot of congestion recently and I woke up feeling so refreshed. I never realized that the congestion was affecting me at night! Definitely keeping these on hand at home!

I believed all the reviews that said as good or better than breathe right, but either ya'll work for the company or the box I got is a total anomaly. Yes, they are bigger. That is not a benefit for me, as I have a small face and head. These are so big they dig into my sensitive under-eye skin. (And yes, I'm putting them on right. Tiny head here.) So they are really not comfortable. They also don't seem to open my nasal passages as well, though perhaps that is because the sizing is off for me. The biggest deal breaker, however, is that they just don't stick well. Sometimes the stickiness is questionable from the start. Other times, I find the darn thing popping off an hour after application. This happens even when I forgo moisturizer in that area of my face. I do not have oily skin, so it makes no sense to me how these work for anyone. I really wanted these to work, but I guess you get what you pay for. Such a bummer.

These really are the best nasal strips ever! Have tried many brands but always awaken in the mornings with this strip intact, unlike others. Highly recommend

This is one of the best ones on the market. The strips pull open my nostrils with a very high degree of tension which is the most important thing. No irritation under the skin whatsoever due to the strips being clear. Very good product.
