Outdoor Waterproof Blanket by Oceas – Warm Fleece Great for Camping, Outdoor Festival, Beach, and Picnic Use – Extra Large All Weather and Waterproof Throw Blanket

I ordered mine on prime last week, already my mother ordered one also. So it’s waterproof, which is nice because we’re in the pocono mountains and love to hike with our dogs. The ground is usually wet so using this as a picnic blanket is perfect. Also its pretty tough, so rocks can’t break through it (neither can my dog chew through it). It’s pretty light considering how durable it is so it’s great for travel. I highly reccomend and don’t really know of a similar product.

This blanket is a HUGE help in those cold/wet/windy sporting situations.I also purchased a Down Under waterproof blanket to see which of the two is better. The Down Under brand wins for softness and quiet (does not crinkle at all so no sound issues) but Oceas wins for wind blocking. The Oceas one has solid outside lets in no wind or water and we have had a TON of rain and wind to test it. I would still recommend the Oceas blanket as an excellent solution to preventing wind and rain and providing warmth while you are at sporting events. Does make a slight crinkle sound but once tucked in no one will hear it. I find this one is big enough to tuck under my butt and still have enough blanket to share with a 2nd person next to me.

I purchased this after my Coleman waterproof blanket finally bit the dust after about 12 years of abuse. Ive only had this one for about 2 weeks, but so far, it's been used as a picnic blanket on a rock beach, a makeshift poncho in a downpour, a barrier under my sleeping pad to keep me warmer, and a pillow and blanket on a 14 he train ride. Its held up great! I've even washed it twice. It's not as compact as I'd like, but its easy to roll up and fit into the bag. The handle on the bag is just the right size to loop over a suitcase handle, which was an unexpected plus for me.

I got caught at a football game in a torrential downpour. Thankfully I had this blanket with me. It was my first time using it. So I was hoping it would work to keep me dry. It worked perfectly. The water beaded up and rolled off. I can’t wait to see how warm it keeps me as the season continues.

I live in he PNW and have been looking at blankets for years to use for football games when the weather turns. Bought this one for my wife. Sat in a downpour for hours at about 35°. Great waterproof but what surprised me the most was the warmth. My hands get cold easily and I forgot gloves for this game but they were toasty warm. The problem was I only got a small section to cover my legs and tuck my hands under as my wife didn’t have a waterproof jacket and was pretty wrapped up in the blanket. Dries fast and easy to fold up into the bag, although my wife just stuffs it in. Took it to a game in Montana where it snowed horizontally but she stayed dry and warm. If it had a built in hood it would be perfect. I plan to get one with a hood for her next year and I’ll take this one.

perhaps I'm not a skilled Prime Shopper, but had I have known there was not free shipping upon return, I would NEVER had purchased this item. very dissatisfied.

I bought this last year for camping and outdoor fun. This blanket was a lot a better than I thought, it is soft on one side and waterproof on the outer side. It is large enough to cover me and my two dogs and its a great blanket to lay on the ground. When we went fishing last year it started pouring raining but I stayed completely dry with this blanket. I have washed this blanket a few times on delicate and dried on a low setting, the blanket is still holding up well. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family.

Due to its compact size, I purchased this as a safety blanket for the car during cold winter months in Canada. Have not had the need to try it out as of yet.
