Got the handling tight again
My 2011 CTS had developed a pretty nasty clunk in the front end whenever I went over speed bumps or potholes, and the steering just felt loose. I knew the bushings were shot, so I picked up this set to swap out both the left and right lower arms rather than trying to press in new bushings individually. The best part about these is that they come as a complete assembly with the ball joints and bushings already installed. It saved me a ton of time and frustration since I didn't have to mess with a shop press. The fitment was surprisingly good; the bolt holes lined up exactly where they needed to be on the subframe, although getting the old rusted ones out was the hardest part of the job. The metal seems heavy and sturdy, comparable to the parts I took off. After getting everything buttoned up and taking it for an alignment, the car feels much more planted on the road. The clunking is completely gone, and the steering response is sharp again. These were a solid choice to get the suspension back in shape without spending a fortune at the dealership.
