Perfect replacement for the Spektrum STX2 systems in my ARRMA's
I knew before I even drove my Arrma Notorious that the radio that it comes with is junk. The majority of all the new Arrma's that have come out have the Spektrum STX2 systems in them since Horizon took over. Well those radios have quite a few issues, and just feel like a $10 radio. But more important than the plastic feel they also have delay issues. Which in an RC that goes over 60MPH is just ridiculous. You need complete and total control with the absolute minimum of input delay. Anyway after some research I knew it was with this, or the Radiolink RC6GS. I went with the Flysky and am glad I did. I LOVE this radio. The feel, build, features, are all great. I bought an extra receiver as well to go into my Typhon 6s. So this will be my radio for all my cars from here out. At first I didnt like the feel of the steering wheel. It seemed too soft and easy to turn. But Ive gotten use to it, and now actually appreciate that ease. It makes it so easy to turn and make minor adjustments. The trigger feels great as well. Another feature that I didnt think Id care about is the SVC gyro system. It works great and can be tuned quite a bit as well. This is great for narrow streets on high speed runs. It keeps it straight as an arrow. The Flysky also has all the important features and adjustments you would need, and quite a few I know Ill never use. Overall I think this is one of the best radios in this price range. Highly recommended! Update: 1-25-20 Just wanted to update this review to say Im still using this radio and still love it. Ive used it in all the Arrma's Ive had and it is currently in my Notorious 6s and my Outcast 4s. Love the feel, controls, and that its easy and cheap to install this in another RC just by buying another receiver for about $20.

Easy to setup!
โญโญโญโญโญ The Flysky FS-GT5 RC Transmitter with the FS-BS6 Receiver is an absolute game-changer for anyone in the RC car and boat hobby. This system offers an incredible level of control and performance, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Setting up the transmitter and receiver was straightforward, thanks to the clear instructions provided. The build quality of the components is excellent, and they feel solid and durable. The ergonomic design of the transmitter is comfortable to hold during extended use. What truly stands out is the precise control it provides over my RC vehicles. The 6 channels give me an incredible range of customization, and I can fine-tune my car and boat's performance to match my preferences. The response time is impressive, ensuring a seamless connection between the transmitter and receiver. The AFHDS technology guarantees a reliable signal, even in crowded RC environments. I've experienced minimal interference and a consistent, stable connection. The range is fantastic, and I can confidently control my vehicles from a considerable distance. The FS-GT5 has truly enhanced my RC experience, allowing me to push the limits of my car and boat's capabilities. It's versatile, dependable, and offers a level of control that's hard to match in this price range. In conclusion, the Flysky FS-GT5 6CH AFHDS RC Transmitter with FS-BS6 Receiver is a fantastic addition to any RC enthusiast's toolkit. It delivers precision, reliability, and performance that exceed expectations. I highly recommend this transmitter to anyone in the hobby. Five stars without a doubt! โญโญโญโญโญ

Great 6ch radio for the price. Better interface than Futaba 3PV.
Using this for my E Revo rebuild, I went with a 6CH so I could add in the Summit Locking Differentials in the future, so the additional channels on radio are currently available for use for that. My biggest complaints are: - By default, the SVC didnt work. The Tx said the Rx was not compatible from the factory binding. Solution was to enable SVC on the transmitter, then rebind it to the Rx. After that, it didn't complain about compatibility. - Battery compartment is tiny. Just big enough to fit 4 AA batteries, so you have to find a very slim battery pack if you don't want to use AAs. My Venom 2s 850 LIFE pack just BARELY fit (super snug), and that was the slimmest LIFE pack I could find. Another user reviewed it with a slim 2s lipo which seemed to fit fine though. (I just feel safer with a LIFE pack than a LIPO pack in my hands) - JST Connector in battery compartment. I would prefer a standard rx-type connector, as that is what futaba (and several other transmitter radios) use for their alternative battery pack connectors. I made myself an adapter. - LIPO compatible only, DOES NOT WORK WITH LIFE BATTERIES! After my adapter was made to use the tx batteries I already owned, I found out that the transmitter refused to work due to a 'Low Voltage!' alarm (reading 6.7v). This was with my LIFE battery connected into the stock JST port. I Soldered a JST connector to the AA battery leads, then used my JST-to-Futaba adapter to connect to my LIFE battery, and it works fine at 6.7v. (Basically connected my battery in place of the AA battery connection) Other than the bit of work I had to do to get my battery pack to work and to get SVC turned on, the radio seems to be doing well, though admittedly I only got it running yesterday. All the features seem to function correctly. I haven't had a chance to compare its range with my spektrum / futaba transmitters yet. I enjoy the interface a lot more than my Futaba 3PV, it is much more user friendly, and has double the channels at half the price. Servo Control: Channel 3 works well to use as a shifter servo control. Unfortunately, this is disabled if you enable CRAWL mode, as CRAWL mode sets up the secondary steering servo on CH3. CH4 is 3-Position (neutral middle) but i don't see a good use for that one (maybe I'll use it for my ESC's AUX wire in future) Channel 4 doesn't seem as nice for a transmission shifter, so I wish CRAWL used that channel instead of 3. I got around this by using a splitter harness on CH1 to control my dual steering servos together, and use CH3 as a shifter. I'm currently using Ch6 for a pwoer-control via an AUX wire on my Castle ESC, and that works well. I intend to eventually put Summit Locking Differentials into the vehicle and control them with CH5 and 6.

Great radio system for RC
I used this to replace an older OEM transmitter/receiver. Easy to bind and calibrate. Great feel and easy to adjust. Receivers are inexpensive and small. It's a great replacement for any cheap or failing OEM radio systems.

Works great for RC Crawlers
I ordered this for my RC rock crawlers builds. I like this transmitter so much I ordered more receivers & now have all my crawlers on this transmitter. Works great for all of them. Not to complicated to figure out. Like some other models. Very happy with it.

Goede levering

Great to retrofit to a RC model buggy
Bought this to replace the R/C on a buggy I bought late 1990s, It was a pretty quick fix including replacing an old resistor speed control with a modern electronic ESC. Buggy is much easier to control with this set instead of the twin joysticks on the old package. Works well and easy to use.
