This is a great replacement for your quiet cool whole house fan replacement for remote. You plug the quiet cool into the receiver and this sends tje signal to turn it on. Great functionality and good range. Worth the price.

I use it for wireless control of x10 modules. I have been using these products since the 1980's. My original controllers (3) had only 2 still working, needed a replacement and it works well, Am now working on getting an repeater amplifier to boost the power of the transmissions.

The media could not be loaded. I've owned numerous X-10 products over the past 30 years. Very few items failed. I purchased this remote with base transceiver on March 11, 2022. Warranty expired on April 12, 2022. Remote failed on September 1, 2022. I should have known that these items have a short life span with a just a 30 day warranty. Changed all 4 AAA batteries, no change.Buyer beware. The remote and transceiver with tax cost $63. In my opinion, you get little value for your money.
