Received the item as described in the advertisement. I didn’t drill any holes to keep the scratch post stable on the ground or the wall. Look me about 15 minutes to put the screws together. Cat seems very happy with the item.

This is brilliant, my indoor cat loves this. The only issue is that unless you can secure it to the floor and wall, it can be a bit unsturdy if you have a large and rambunctious kitty like mine. (he loves to jump on it from odd angles) We still have it up because we want to give him the stimulation of being able to climb, but we have to keep an eye on it. I am planning to figure out a way to secure it better.

He loves this thing and sleeps on it every night. I am so glad I made this purchase. I just put it on a random cat tree I got on Amazon and switched the cheap hammock for this one. If you do what I did be prepared to use a block to balance out the sides. I didn’t use a block to balance out so the top is a few centimeters off and is not a problem.

My cats love this. Excellent construction. It needs protectors where the hammock arms meet the wall, but I bought some felt furniture protectors. I was concerned that it would slip or slide out away from wall, but it does not....but mine is on a carpeted floor.

I got the one without the hammock in the middle. I am not sure how well the two pieces are joined in the middle because it’s just one long bolt and not sure if it is screwed in on one piece more than the other. It does seem to warp a little in the middle but it holds the cat weight just fine. It comes with a clear plastic sticky to put on textured walls and the suction cups work really well. I actually had trouble undoing the suction cups when I accidentally placed them against the window. It also has stickers to the floor so it stays tight in place.Update at 4 months: it hasn’t budged at all. My cats climb it very often as I put their food at the top. They are each over 10 lb. It doesn’t twist at all either so I don’t think the bolt will be an issue and the rugs are holding up to the scratching better than I thought.

Easy to set up, my cat loves it- no complaints!
