I’ve got this 2yo who just loves to beat me senseless. So why not buy him foam swords? What could go wrong? They’re not very long so he’s going to have to come in close with those short arms of his. Pretty flimsy so he will have to stop and get a new sword if I outlast his chosen weapon.Boy are they flashy with all the colors in stuff. Hell never sneak up on me in the shadow of darkness.A direct chopping blow could be a bit painful, but that’ll test my ninja skills!All in all I’m very excited that he’s going to be very excited to get these for Christmas. Good bargain, very flashy, not too durable to cause and serious injuries, and they’re the right size for a little ninja warrior!

We received these as a Christmas gift - I wasn’t a huge fan when I opened them, but they have offered hours and hours of relatively safe entertainment for my 3 kids (5 and under). The shields broke after a few months (straps popped off), but the swords are still going strong. They are soft enough that they kids don’t hurt each other if they happen to hit each other.

Four year old Grandson loved this set. The swords are pretty sturdy and have held up to daily usage ( purchased over a month ago). But within a day or two the straps on the Shields broke off. They are held by heavy Velcro on one side but on the other side they are held by push type pins that came off.Using Velcro to hold the straps on both ends would be much better. I would still purchase as my grandson and his friends still love playing with the swords and have other shields.

We got these for my 5 & 8 year old to fight with ( ok we got them so my husband and I could fight with them as well ;)The sword are great, very sturdy. Unfortunately both of the shields arrived with the straps broken ( all the metal fittings came apart) All in all worth the money!

Great for parties. Super sturdy, thick foam material. They kids (ages 3 to 9) battled each other and nothing broke or bent. Some of the sword designs are simpler than others but kids didn't seem to mind. Shields were also sturdy and had adjustable Velcro straps. Only bummer was 2 Shields, not enough to give away so had to just keep those for my kids. Would have prefer 2 swords instead of the Shields in this case.

Well, it's not exactly giftable because they are just piled into a sealed plastic bag, but I've given a few of these to a 2 and 5 year old to play-test. They broke one sword quite quickly but the others are holding up. These are a good, cheap purchase to entertain a few young ones. They won't last long, but could make cool party favors or something.

These are adorable and relatively sturdy. The buttons holding the straps on the shield broke off literally the first time my boys put them on their arms.1) kind of ridiculous they hadn’t even used the shields yet and it already came apart2) EXTREME CHOKING HAZARD3) No way to fix this as the button things will just keep popping off because they’re not secured together4) luckily I had Velcro on hand and was able to completely remove the silver buttons and just put a piece of Velcro in place of the buttons and then they worked goodSO HAVE VELCRO ON HAND!

I got this for my son's birthday and he had a blast with his friends with these swords and shields. They are soft so they can play without getting hurt, and they are colorful and come in different models.
