Champion Rubber Coated Grip Plate

In general, these are great, and are much cheaper priced than my VTX bumpers. They look awesome (much better than in the photos) because the lettering is not only raised, but painted silver, and generally look higher quality than I expected. They are also physically thinner than VTX bumper plates, so I can pile more onto a bar than the VTX plates. However, the rubber coating is much harder than the VTX coating, and much thinner as well, so I am really not sure about how well it is going to hold up to things like heavy deads and rows where the plates impact the floor with significant force. Still, I'll keep this at 5 stars as long as they hold together.

I just got these today, and they seem like very nice quality. They slide nicely onto my Barbell with a metal ring inside the weights. But most of all I like the fact that they took my order and kept their promise by shipping. Another company that I ordered weights from held my order for 6 days, and showed an arrival within a few days. They cancelled that order today. At least this company kept it's promise, and for that I am giving them an A+

These are great barbells. I liked them.

Works well! No complaints. I'm able to use this even on a 1" dumbbell handle, with smaller weights on both sides, and it doesn't move around too much. Not ideal for a 1" handle but it works.

They are great weights. The rubber is great and they fit perfect on the bar. Just wish I was able to buy more of them right now!

It's a weight and good price, buy it. The bars I use are to skinny for this type of weight but I use a 3 lb weight first which came with a set I bought then put these weights on.

Cheap rubber coating. Overpriced.

Had a strange coating on it but that wore off. Probably for shipping. Works fine for my home gym.
