Great for firearm repair.
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I got this to work on my firearms. Having a wide variety of punch pin sizes covers all of my bases. The carrying case is a good size that I can throw this in my hunting bag and it not be an inconvenience. The metal quality is adequate and the included stand is a nice thing to have. Much better than a vice or free holding the item in the air. This is a more complete set than harbor freight offerings for a better price, and that is coming from someone who loves harbor freight.

Decent kit
Everything you need for a build. The bench block is nice, it has built in bushing wrench as well. This is more or less a kit specifically for a 1911, however I have used it on other models as well. The punches are decent quality, this is not a professional gunsmiths set. This is a kit for a hobbyist, and should be seen as such. Think Ryobi versus Milwaukee, will it get the job done? Yes, will it last forever, who knows but at the price who cares. I recommend it for someone who is tinkering in building and working on their own stuff. The case is nice as it keeps everything together and properly identified.

Good punches. The hammer is kinda crappy, but it still hammers stuff, so i aint mad. The mylon head is grwat for drivong pins without marring surface finishes. These have roll pin starters as well as some flat nylon punches. Good as any other punch set.

Nice set
Decent set. Seems well made. No issues with it while using, not much of a magnet area or place to hold parts in the block. Overall satisfied with it

Indispensable tools for reworking my hunting rifle!
In lieu of spending hundreds of $$s having an armorer replace the trigger on my hunting rifle, i bought this punch set and did it myself. The kit had all the punch sizes I needed. The hammer’s interchangeable nylon, brass, steel and rubber heads were important. Several pins required direct hammering to set. These were done without marring the gun’s anodized surfaces using the nylon head.This punch set saved me AT LEAST a hundred dollars on its first use. Great value and versatility!
