I ordered this knee brace to see if it would reduce swelling and discomfort when I play basketball. This brace while very comfortable, also provide the necessary support to relieve some of the pressure on my knee. Fit is accurate and material is washable. Solid item!!!

I was about to rate this brace 5 stars, after multiple test runs… and then I saw the bottom hem is beginning to tear after only 4-5 uses over the 1st week of ownership.PROS:(1) it’s a clean, attractive DESIGN(2) FITS as expected(3) It’s actually a little STRONGER SUPPORT than i even need. I’ve tried many sleeves and braces over the years after banging up my knees in 15 years of rec football and volleyball.This is as good as my best pair of braces, and then a little stronger (but there’s a tradeoff… it’s a little more restrictive/ less fluid than i want every day. Basically the brace i probably want if my knees degrade further with age).(4) MULTIPLE SUPPORT DYNAMICS - protects the kneecap (gel pad), the joint itself (vertical movements like walking & climbing stairs), and lateral movement.CONS & OTHER NOTES:(5) PATELLA GEL PAD - an FYI, not a “con”; the gel pad is not removable; it’s sewn in. I don’t mind so much since I only remove the gel pads from my braces when I hand wash them.(6) SLIPPAGE - over short periods of time (a few hours/single activity), this brace stayed in place well. Over the course of a full day (10-15 hours), doing multiple normal activities (walking, sitting, kneeling) the brace tends to slide down a few inches on me.The upper hem has a wide elastic band as well as the “anti-slip” silicon pattern, but it’s a single point of failure; the bottom hem has neither. The most reliable of my braces utilizes features at both top and bottom to stay in place.(7) DURABILITY - This is the actual letdown for me. I fall in towards the bottom half of the XL range measurements, yet after only 4-5 uses (about 40 hours’ wear), the bottom hem is already starting to fray and tear. (By contrast, the best of my braces have lasted for multiple years of frequent use, before starting to break down.)If what you need is something sturdier/reliable and more supportive than the usual braces on the retail market, you’re on the right track with this kind of design. My only concern is the durability…

Finally a knee brace that works for me. Other ones slipped down under my knee or just didn't work. This one is designed with common sense. The stabilizer is hugely helpful. It helps keep my knees lined up so I avoid the wrong movement.This is the type of brace you simply slide on and off, which is what I prefer because it fits more flush. Besides, the velcro ones caused more damage to my clothes and bedding than what they're worth.My only slight issue is these do roll a very little at the top, but that's okay. I can deal with it. I didn't feel like this was something to blame this for, because even long socks can roll. I didn't mark this down a star because this is very minor.I have made this my primary brace because it's quite comfortable, it looks good, and most of all, it works. This is a high quality knee braces. I recommend this to anyone looking for help with their knee. You likely will love them, just like I do!

I had a knee replacement years ago and it definitely has not been an easy recovery for me. I still ice after long walks or days on my feet. I think this brace is outstanding. It was the exact right amount of support and enough pressure to squeeze out some of the usual swelling. It is very comfortable! I took it out of the freezer (added chill) and put it on. I highly recommend this brace. It is a little large at the top for me so I stitched it to make it a bit smaller. The sizing was my fault now that I look at the measurements again. I think that considered, their sizing is accurate. Just look at the measurements before you order.

These are very good knee braces. They are well made and comfortable to wear. I only wear these when needed, but they work great when I do.

This gives me much more support than my usual knee brace when needed. The gel pads really soft and helps me a lot. It’s comfortable and doesn’t irritate my skin. I wore today for 9 hours and knee feels better wearing this. Happy I came across this.
