Worked great once I figured what I was doing wrong
I used this x-y table to cut precise holes for electronics displays on the aluminum front panel of a ham radio receiver I am building. I bought the one that is better than the cheapest version and it had no slop and moved straight along my workpiece. I used some small milling cutters I found on Amazon . My initial mistake was to align the x-y table to my drill press but I should have aligned the workpiece square to the x-y table. I can actually swing the x-y table around or up/down (using the drill press movable table) to get at the drill chuck or see better and as long as the workpiece stays square to the x-y table, the cut is straight. Worked great.

Good for the price.
For the price, it's pretty good. It's just aluminum extrusions with threaded rod, so I can't expect to take beefy cuts with it, but for the micro horizontal mill I built to use it on it does perfectly fine holding a zinc casting for cutting a slot with an 1/8" carbide bit. Do make sure to adjust and tighten the gibs on the ways - mine were only finger tight. The threaded studs that came with are too small for anything except flat stock, so I swapped them for some 5/16 carriage bolts that I turned the heads down on. It gets a star off for the mounting for the long axis threaded rod being drilled off center by at least a few thousandths. It leaves very consistent ridges that are identical to the pitch of the screw, and you can feel a big difference in the grab.

Very light duty
The table would be OK only for plastic machining as the construction is very light-duty. A bottom view (not shown) would reveal the unit is hollow aluminum with the end-plates held-on with sheet metal screws. It weighs only 4.3# which also give you an idea of the ruggedness. --Very light duty only.-- I did like the long throw lengths. Wish they would make a stronger version...

Good buy
I read reviews about the this vise on google. and it felt like the 6300 vise is the one people complained the most. and it looked cheaper. so i decided to give the 6330 version a shot. Bam, it is as good as i expected. No warbles, and holds zero.I can use it right out of the box. I did not lube it at all before using it. and it works fine. a little bit tight. I bet lube it and adjust the set crews will fix this problem. i used it to hold my upper receiver and drilled four holes in a line. they are spot on. which means this vise held the zero.I recommend the 6330 version for the price and quality.

slop
to much slop in x/y directions to make any useful cuts

Don't buy this
The price is great, however it definitely is so cheap for a reason. Worthless for the most part.
