Stellar IEM, definitely punches above its weight. Blind buy certified
First and foremost let me start by saying sound quality is superb for this price point.Treble isnt sharp but still manages to extract great detail.Mids are a bit recessed but nothing to truly complain about, id consider this part a bit recessedBass section is clean and clear. Lacks a bit of punxh however this is perfect for me as these are geared towards audiophiles like myself.Build Quality is solid!Comfort is good enough for my ears. Must play with plugs to ensure properfitment and sound quality.Design is goodFit is good. The one gripe i have is the cable that come with looks decent (I got the DSP usb type c with mic version which i am truly enjoy for this price) however the ear part doesnt truly flex to stay in place BUT its a small sacrifice that i think anyone should take on these.Mic quality is good, not complaining.Overall I love these , blind buy IMO. You wont be dissapointed.

Amazing sound and build for the price!
Fantastic sounding IEMs. Well worth the money. The cable feels great. I enjoy the fact that it's USB-C. Generally the 2 pin connection system has been iffy, in my experience. But on these, they connect strongly and firmly. The included leather case is high quality, though I would've preferred a hard case. The brass pin to close the case can occasionally come unscrewed. This is simple to reinstall. They fit well. The body of the IEM is well molded to a larger ear shape. There is only one firmness of included ear tip, which is fine given the price. I generally prefer larger and firmer tips, but they seem to be interchangeable with other Moondrop ear tips.

Very good earbuds/IEMs
The sound quality is excellent and the equalization/frequency response is such that anything, whether it be classical, acoustic, or EDM, sounds like it "should". The bass is fantastic IF it's a song that actually has a lot of bass (Everything is Here, Nothing is Here by the band "Toe" is a good bass test), yet acoustic songs sound balanced, too. (Neutral Milk Hotel's Engine is a pretty good song to test indie/acoustic.) I bought these after having to return a pair of JBL Endurance Run 2's that sounded like they had a permanent "bass boost" setting applied, making 95% of the music I listen to sound horrible; the CHU 2's sound excellent out of the box on everything, no equalizer software required. As for the negatives, two come to mind:First, since these are new, fancy DSP-hybrid style IEMs that can use a USB port or a regular headphone jack, it would be much better for my own needs if they came with a regular 3.5mm audio plug in addition to the USB-C cable (the cables are detachable). Getting a replacement 3.5mm plug 0.78mm cable is $8-$20 on the low end, or $30-$60 in the midrange. The other issue is that the shell of these buds is made from solid aluminum. This is great for durability, but, when putting them into your ears or adjusting them slightly, a glancing tap of your fingernail against the IEM body makes a deafening sound if they're fully inserted. A thin outer layer of silicone of the same kind that is used for the eartips would be really helpful for this issue. After having these for a few weeks I've gotten pretty good about not doing that, but it's something I've learned after plenty of painful negative reinforcement. The box is nice, and it comes with a soft pouch for the earbuds and tips. It comes with three different sizes of eartips. I tried the moondrop software that is meant to use the DSP functionality and immediately uninstalled it; it's crap. Oh well, I don't need it anyway and I'm very happy with both the sound and construction quality. The inline volume controls works like they should—nothing defective or revolutionary there. The mic works, though I didn't test it enough to comment on the quality; I wouldn't expect much from inline IEM mics.

Great DSP with great included IEMs!
This DSP works with all of my other IEMs without volume issues. I love the carrying pouch and the CHU II themselves are a fantastic set of budget IEMs. Plenty of rumble and punch without losing detail. Vocals sound a little processed, but it's totally acceptable. Small, comfortable, and portable with great sound!

Great while they lasted
Lasted about 2 months and then the left earbud sound was noticeably quieter than the right one, to the point that it was distracting. Thought it was the cord that died so I ordered replacement cable, but it's the IEM itself that it the issue.Sounded great, especially for the price point. I really liked the convenience of the the usb-c cable, the inline microphone and not having to worry about carrying a separate DAC. However, while I'm used to headphones dying after 2-3months I really can't justify I repurchase if they're only going to last that long.
